Media furious when illegal immigration is put at the forefront
Former President Donald Trump and his running mate, U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), caused Democrats and their media allies to meltdown by highlighting the plight of Springfield, Ohio.
The Biden-Harris administration shipped nearly 20,000 illegal aliens from Haiti to the Ohio city of almost 60,000 over a couple of years.
Springfield is dealing with a rise in crime, overcrowded schools and hospitals, and a housing shortage from the influx of Haitians.
Residents of the city reported that geese and ducks were being poached from the local parks by Haitians for food.
And some reported that Haitians were taking their pet dogs and cats to eat.
Trump mentioned Springfield’s plight during the ABC News Presidential debate against Vice President Kamala Harris.
“In Springfield, they’re eating the dogs! The people that came in, they’re eating the cats,” Trump exclaimed. “They’re eating the pets of the people that live there! And this is what’s happening in our country. And it’s a shame.”
Democrats and their media allies had a meltdown over Trump and Vance highlighting the devastation that the illegal immigration that President Joe Biden and Kamala are causing to the country.
They claimed that there was no evidence of pets being taken, but a police report from Springfield said otherwise.

Donald Trump and J.D. Vance accused of being domestic terrorists
The media began to falsely claim that Trump and Vance’s comments about Springfield were causing violence.
Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) went on a rant accusing Trump and Vance of fueling “domestic terrorism” by talking about Springfield during a House Judiciary Subcommittee hearing on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.
“I’m curious to know if any of you are aware as to whether or not the FBI is involved at all in determining what’s going on in Springfield, Ohio, because as far as I’m concerned, there is domestic terrorism afoot, and it is at the word of the Republican nominee and his running mate,” Crockett ranted. “So do we know if anyone is checking into that on the federal level? I’m just curious. Just a yes or no. Anybody?”
The media reported that bomb threats had been made in Springfield and rushed to blame Trump and Vance for them.
But it turned out that every one of them was false and all of them came from an unnamed foreign country, according to Ohio Governor Mike DeWine (R).
Trump and Vance are guilty of noticing the terrible effects of the Biden-Harris administration’s open border agenda in Springfield and raising the profile of the issue.
Democrats and their media allies want to shift the attention off of the city’s plight and make the story about their comments.
Voters noticing the nightmare that Springfield residents are going through from unchecked illegal immigration is a political problem in an election year for Kamala.
That’s why the Left is desperately trying to reframe the story to protect her.
