J.D. Vance has the media grilling Kamala Harris’ allies
U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) has settled into his role as the attack dog as former President Donald Trump’s Vice Presidential nominee.
He’s been aggressively making the case against Vice President Kamala Harris in the media and on the campaign trail.
Vance has been hammering Kamala for the hollowness of her pitch to voters to be President.
He’s pointed out that Kamala has had three and half years to solve the problems she claims she’s going to fix in the White House.
Now the narrative he created has finally filtered its way into the media.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) – one of Kamala’s campaign surrogates – was confronted during a CNN appearance about the Vice President’s inability to deliver on her promises.
“How do you make the case that you’re gonna get stuff done if you have three-and-a-half years and you haven’t gotten it done? Does [Vance] have a point?” CNN host Kate Bolduan asked.
“Oh my gosh, when you look at just even in J.D. Vance’s hometown, a steel mill that is now thriving that was on the precipice of closing under Trump’s last term, it’s thriving now because Harris and Biden worked to make sure we are on shoring supply chains,” Whitmer claimed.
Whitmer falsely claimed that the Biden-Harris administration had delivered on creating good-paying manufacturing jobs.
“This is about American manufacturing, and when you look at J.D. Vance’s own state, how much people have benefited [from] good-paying jobs,” Whitmer ranted. “But for J.D. Vance to show how little he knows about the Vice Presidency, I think is very revealing and is exactly why we need leaders who understand the job and can get stuff done and make our lives better.”
The Biden-Harris plan to destroy American manufacturing
The numbers tell a different story about American manufacturing during the Biden-Harris administration.
Manufacturing jobs are being lost at an alarming rate.
The ISM Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index – a key economic indicator that measures orders from factories – has been down 21 out of the last 22 months.
Biden-Harris has been cooking the books on the job numbers to make the economy seem healthier than it is.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics admitted last month that it overestimated the number of jobs created for the 12 months ending in March 2024 by 818,000.
There were 115,000 fewer manufacturing jobs created over those 12 months than the Biden-Harris administration initially claimed.
High energy prices and regulations are pushing the manufacturing sector into a recession.
Kamala told CNN in an interview that she’s “proud” of the work she did on the economy with President Joe Biden.
She claims she wants to save the economy, but the current administration she serves in is running it straight into the ground.
