Ilhan Omar's husband just told the federal government he earned $200 last year.
The self-described socialist congresswoman from Minnesota – the one who lectures America about income inequality – is fully supporting a man who once claimed to run a $30 million empire.
The empire just filed its 2025 financials – and the number is $200.
The Man Behind the Multimillion-Dollar Mirage
Tim Mynett, 44, reported zero income from his main business, Rose Lake Capital, on Omar's newly released 2025 financial disclosure.
His only earnings last year came from a now-defunct California wine company called eStCru – a business that sold bottles named "The Devil's Lie" before closing its doors in April.
That business generated between $200 and $1,000 for the entire year.

Meanwhile, Omar collected her $174,000 congressional salary – paid by American taxpayers.
The couple's combined net worth is now listed at negative $80,000 to negative $95,000, after credit card and student loan debt.
That's the same husband who, just one year earlier, was claiming a venture capital and wine empire worth between $5 million and $30 million.
Chairman James Comer and the House Oversight Committee demanded financial records from Mynett's businesses back in February after that explosive valuation jump – from $51,000 in 2023 to $30 million in 2024 – triggered alarm bells across Washington.
From $30 Million to $200 in Twelve Months
Here's the timeline Omar's team doesn't want you thinking about.
In 2023, Mynett's two companies – Rose Lake Capital and eStCru – were valued at a combined $51,000 on Omar's disclosure.
In 2024, those same companies suddenly appeared worth up to $30 million.
Omar blamed it on an "accounting error" when Republicans began asking questions.
She filed an amended return in March 2026 slashing that $30 million figure to near-zero – quietly, after Comer's committee had already launched its investigation.
A 2025 email between Mynett and his accountant reportedly valued Rose Lake Capital at $7.9 million and the winery at $1.5 million – but Mynett owns only about a third of each.

Now, in the 2025 disclosure, Mynett's stake in Rose Lake Capital generated exactly nothing.
Already the subject of a 2023 fraud lawsuit after an investor accused Mynett of misrepresenting the company as legitimate, eStCru shut down entirely in April.
An investor named Naeem Mohd had wired $300,000 to Mynett and his partner Will Hailer after being promised a 200% return in 18 months.
He only got his original investment back – after suing for fraud.
DOJ and Congress Are Still Watching
The House Oversight investigation hasn't gone away.
Comer referred Omar's case to the House Ethics Committee earlier this year over her financial disclosures.
In May 2026, Vice President JD Vance confirmed from the White House podium that the DOJ is actively investigating Omar – this time over immigration fraud allegations as well as her finances.
"If we think that there's a crime, we're going to prosecute that crime," Vance told reporters. "And that's something the Department of Justice is looking at right now."
Omar skipped a state-level hearing in Minnesota in May and missed a May 5 deadline to hand over records to lawmakers probing the Feeding Our Future fraud scandal – a federal child nutrition program at the center of one of the largest federal fraud cases in American history, with more than $250 million stolen and Omar's name surfacing in court exhibits at least six times.
House Republicans attempted to subpoena her records.
Democrats killed it on a party-line vote.
"Voters see right through the corrupt lies of Ilhan Omar," Republican National Committee spokeswoman Delanie Bomar told the New York Post. "Omar has spent her entire career covering up Democrat-enabled fraud that cost taxpayers billions, so it's no surprise that she would do the same for her husband."
The Pattern Congress Keeps Finding
Rose Lake Capital once marketed itself as managing $60 billion in assets through a team of former diplomats with ties across more than 80 countries.

Last year it paid its co-founder nothing.
That's not a rough stretch in venture capital.
That's a business that doesn't work like a business.
Here's the part that should fire you up: Omar sponsored the legislation that expanded the Feeding Our Future program in 2020.
Her husband's businesses then explode in value the same year investigators start circling that fraud network.
Then the value disappears the moment Congress asks for documents.
Every House Ethics referral, every subpoena attempt, every missed deadline gets killed on a party-line vote or explained away as an accounting error.
That pattern has a name, and it isn't a coincidence.
