Ilhan Omar spent years telling America that Trump supporters are too dumb to debate.
Last year, while reading prepared remarks at a Capitol Hill press conference, she said the Alien Enemies Act was last invoked "during World War Eleven."
Now the video is everywhere – and the people she called idiots are having the time of their lives.
The Clip That Will Not Die
The moment happened at a Democrat press conference on the Neighbors Not Enemies Act, a bill aimed at blocking Trump's use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan gang members.
Omar was reading from prepared remarks.
She got to the part about World War II, saw the Roman numerals "II," and said "World War Eleven" into the microphone.
She caught herself – "Oh, two" – and laughed it off.
The bill went nowhere, and the clip sat dormant for over a year.
Then the FBI executed 22 search warrants at Somali-owned businesses in Omar's district on April 28, 2026 – including the infamous Quality "Learing" Center, whose misspelled sign had already become a national punchline – and someone dug the clip back up.
The internet connected the dots instantly.
Quality Learing Meets World War Eleven
The connection is now radioactive for Omar.
The Quality "Learing" Center daycare became viral shorthand for the fraud investigation consuming her district – its misspelled sign a perfect symbol for the $250 million allegedly stolen from programs meant to feed children.
Sixty-five people, the vast majority of Somali descent, have already been convicted or pleaded guilty in the Feeding Our Future probe.
Sen. Mike Lee responded to the resurfaced clip with exactly the energy the moment deserved: "'World War Eleven' … Yes, that was deadly."
Conservative podcast host Matt Walsh went further: "God forbid we ever have World War 3, Ilhan Omar will think we're on World War One Hundred Eleven."
Elon Musk posted a grimacing emoji.
The account "I Meme Therefore I Am" connected the two threads perfectly: "She must have gotten her education in the Quality Learing Center."
The Woman Who Called You Stupid
Here is what makes this video genuinely brutal rather than just funny.
Omar did not simply make a verbal slip in front of cameras.
She made that slip while running a public crusade against the very enforcement cracking down on her district's fraud problem.
And she has been on record for years telling Americans who voted for Trump that they are too intellectually beneath her to argue with.
The resurfaced clip shows Omar calling Trump voters "idiots" and saying, "It's become really hard to have an intellectual debate with any of these people."
She added: "The dumbing of the United States has arrived, because how else do we get a Trump presidency again?"

The Bigger Picture Omar Cannot Escape
The World War Eleven clip is funny.
What is not funny is the full picture closing in around Omar right now.
Her financial disclosure recently showed assets between $6 million and $30 million – a jaw-dropping jump from $65,000 the year before.
After Republicans and congressional watchdogs started asking questions, the filing was amended to show assets of $18,000 to $95,000.
An "accounting error," her office said.
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer responded: "Perhaps Ilhan's accountant is a graduate from the Quality Learing Center. Either way, this about-face shows incompetence at best and a cover-up at worst."

Minnesota state Rep. Kristin Robbins sent Omar a formal letter demanding answers after Omar skipped a state committee hearing on her potential connections to the Feeding Our Future investigation – the probe targeting her district, her community, the organizations she publicly promoted.
Omar's response to the FBI raids on her own district was to call the Trump administration a source of "terror, confusion, and chaos."
She is not worried about the $250 million stolen from programs meant to feed children.
She is worried about the investigators.
