Hillary Clinton Just Got Caught Red-Handed Spreading This Massive Lie About Donald Trump

Jan 12, 2026

Five years after January 6, Democrats still can't tell the truth about what happened.

Hillary Clinton just proved how desperate they've become.

And Hillary Clinton just got caught red-handed spreading this massive lie about Donald Trump.

Clinton Falsely Claimed Trump "Urged" Attack on Capitol

Hillary Clinton marked the fifth anniversary of January 6 by posting a brazenly false claim on social media.

"Five years ago today, Donald Trump urged his supporters to attack Congress and the Capitol over a proven lie," Clinton wrote on X.

She didn't stop there.

Clinton piled on more accusations, claiming "More than 140 police officers were injured" and that "Trump then pardoned the attackers."

The problem?

Trump never urged anyone to attack anything.

His exact words from that day tell a completely different story.

Here's What Trump Actually Said

"I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard," Trump said during his January 6, 2021 speech.

Peacefully and patriotically.

Those aren't the words of someone inciting violence.

Clinton knows this.

The entire speech transcript is publicly available.

Trump has sued media outlets for billions of dollars for editing his January 6 speech to make it appear he encouraged violence.

The BBC is currently facing a $10 billion defamation lawsuit from Trump for deceptively editing his speech in a documentary that spliced parts together from an hour apart.

Megyn Kelly called out Clinton's lie immediately.

"Trump should sue her for this," Kelly posted. "It's patently untrue (urged his supporters to attack Congress??)."

Clinton Turned Off Comments Because She Knows She Lied

The most telling detail?

Clinton disabled replies to her post.

She knew exactly what she was doing.

Trump supporters flooded other posts calling out her cowardice for disabling replies.

The move confirmed what everyone already knew – Clinton posted a lie she couldn't defend.

The Trump White House noticed Clinton's lie immediately.

Conservative commentator Bradley Jaye suggested Clinton should get the same treatment Trump's giving the BBC.

"Trump already beat Hillary at the ballot box. Now she wants him to beat her in the courts?" Jaye wrote. "Trump never urged an attack on anything. He should sue her for every single dime she corruptly pocketed from foreign governments."

Democrats Keep Rewriting January 6 History

Clinton's lie fits a pattern.

Democrats spent years claiming Trump refused to send the National Guard to the Capitol on January 6.

That's false too.

Trump requested National Guard troops before January 6.

Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund testified that he requested National Guard deployment days in advance.

Nancy Pelosi was the one who delayed authorizing the Guard for "over 70 agonizing minutes" while the Capitol was under attack, according to Sund.

HBO footage captured Pelosi admitting responsibility during the January 6 evacuation.

"Why weren't the National Guard there to begin with?" Pelosi said in the video. "I take responsibility for not having them just prepared for more."

But Democrats spent $20 million on the January 6 Committee to blame Trump instead.

The Truth About Trump's January 6 Actions

The facts demolish Clinton's narrative.

Trump explicitly told supporters to be peaceful.

He requested National Guard troops beforehand.

Pentagon leadership and House leadership failed to act on those requests.

And when violence broke out, Trump told supporters at 2:38 PM to "Stay peaceful!"

The White House launched a website on the fifth anniversary of January 6 laying out the complete timeline.

It shows Democrats "staged the real insurrection" by refusing adequate security despite intelligence warnings.

Trump issued sweeping pardons on his first day back in office for nearly 1,600 Americans prosecuted for January 6.

Many were peaceful protesters held as political prisoners for years.

The Biden DOJ treated trespassers like insurrectionists while Democrats in Congress spent millions fabricating a narrative.

Trump is right to fight back against these lies.

Clinton just opened herself up to exactly the kind of defamation suit Trump filed against the BBC.

She made up "out of whole cloth" that Trump urged supporters to attack Congress, according to legal analyst John Nolte.

"These smears and lies around January 6 must come to an end," Nolte wrote at Breitbart.

Trump should sue Clinton.

She's spent five years spreading the same lie Democrats used to impeach him, prosecute his supporters, and try to bar him from the ballot.

Now she's doing it again on the anniversary.

Clinton probably knows a lawsuit is coming.

That's why she turned off replies and posted her lie anyway.

She wants the attention.

Sitting around watching Matlock reruns and wondering where Bill is must be getting pretty old.
