Trump told them evidence was coming.
The FBI delivered 700 boxes of it.
Now Fulton County is threatening to sue – and what they're demanding tells you everything about what they're hiding.
Fulton County Lawsuit Challenges FBI Raid Over 2020 Election Records
Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr. announced Monday the county plans to file a federal lawsuit challenging the FBI's January 28 raid on their election hub.
Arrington claimed the warrant was improper and demanded the FBI return all seized materials.
"I've asked the county attorney to take any and all steps available to fight this criminal search warrant," Arrington said.
The county wants forensic accounting of everything taken, documents sealed and kept in Georgia, and a complete chain-of-custody inventory.
According to Arrington, nobody knows where those boxes actually went.
FBI agents spent hours at the Fulton County Election Hub and Operation Center in Union City, loading box after box of 2020 ballots, voter rolls, tabulator tapes, and electronic ballot images into trucks.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard showed up personally – an unprecedented move that had Democrats screaming about intelligence agencies conducting domestic law enforcement operations.
Trump Vindicated: 315,000 Georgia Votes Lacked Required Signatures
Here's what Fulton County doesn't want you to know.
In December 2025, they admitted before Georgia's State Election Board that 315,000 early votes from 2020 were certified without proper signatures on tabulator tapes.
That's not a typo – 315,000 votes.
Georgia law requires poll managers and two witnesses to sign three copies of each tabulator tape certifying the results.
Election integrity activist David Cross spent $15,800 on open records requests and discovered that 134 tabulator tapes covering virtually every early in-person vote in Fulton County had blank signature blocks.
Every single one.
County attorney Ann Brumbaugh didn't dispute it: "We do not dispute that the tapes were not signed. It was a violation of the rule."
That's 315,000 votes that never got the required sign-offs – in a state Biden supposedly won by 11,779 votes.
The State Election Board voted 3-0 to refer the case to the Attorney General's office, with potential fines of $5,000 per missing tape totaling over $670,000.
Those unsigned tapes represented 26 times Trump's losing margin.
Kash Patel Confirms Probable Cause For Georgia Election Investigation
Kash Patel went on "Saturday in America" and made it crystal clear the FBI didn't just show up randomly.
"The FBI follows the facts and the law, and President Trump and the attorney general have given us a clear mandate to reduce crime in this country and investigate anything that rises to the level of probable cause," Patel said.
Magistrate Judge Catherine Salinas signed the warrant after what Patel called months of investigative work building the case.
"The FBI and the DOJ went in and collected numerous pieces of evidence that the judge authorized us to collect," Patel added.
The warrant listed potential violations of federal laws requiring election records retention and laws against intimidating voters or procuring false votes.
Patel told "The Charlie Kirk Show" investigators are now reviewing what he described as a "voluminous" amount of information.
"These things take time for people to see," Patel said when asked where the investigation leads.
Trump himself confirmed the operation last week: "She's working very hard on trying to keep the elections safe, and she's done a very good job. You got a signed judge's order in Georgia, and you're going to see some interesting things happening."
The Justice Department had already sued Fulton County in December 2025 seeking access to 2020 election records, but the county fought the lawsuit claiming DOJ didn't make a valid argument.
Fulton County is the most populous county in Georgia and includes Atlanta – ground zero for Trump's 2020 election fraud claims.
The same county where Trump was indicted in 2023 over allegations he tried to illegally overturn the election, only to see that case collapse after corrupt DA Fani Willis was disqualified and the charges dismissed.
Now it's Willis's own county facing a criminal investigation for how they handled that election in the first place.
Chain of custody exists for one reason – to prove ballots weren't tampered with between when they were cast and when they were counted.
When 315,000 votes lack the required signatures proving that chain of custody, you don't have verification.
You have a catastrophic breakdown in basic election security that makes every audit and recount meaningless because you're just recounting ballots that were never properly certified to begin with.
Fulton County's lawsuit threats sound less like confidence in their election integrity and more like panic that someone finally has the evidence Trump said existed all along.
