The polls continue to move in Donald Trump’s favor.
Democrat Party anxiety grows by the minute.
And Fox News has Donald Trump in the lead in a new poll that had Trump jumping for joy.
Fox News poll shows Trump leading Kamala Harris
Fox News Channel’s brand new poll found Donald Trump leading Kamala Harris 50 to 48 percent.
This was a four point reversal from Fox’s September poll, which showed Kamala Harris holding a two-point edge over Trump.
Fox News reported that Trump surged into the lead thanks to gaining ground with key voting blocs and Kamala Harris losing ground with voters she needs to win.
“These are Trump’s best numbers since Harris became the nominee in August. The movement toward him mainly comes from an increase in support among White voters, who now favor him by 10 points, up from 4 points last month and 6 points in August. He is also at record highs among voters 65 and over (49%) and those with a college degree (48%),” Fox News reported.
“At the same time, Harris receives her lowest support since becoming the nominee among Black voters (67%), college graduates (49%), voters 65 and over (47%) and Whites with a college degree (46%),” Fox News also reported.
Democratic pollster Chris Anderson conducted the Fox News poll with Republican pollster Daron Shaw.
Anderson told Fox News that in a margin of error race like this, even a small shift towards candidates – like the ones this poll found towards Trump – can provide the winning margin on Election Day.
“Overall, the movement toward Trump is subtle but potentially consequential, especially if he is making gains among college-educated voters,” Anderson stated. “However, the race has been well within the margin of error for three months and the outcome will likely hinge on which side is more effective at getting their voters to the polls as opposed to persuasion.”
More good news in the poll for Trump
This poll found Donald Trump’s approval rating at 53 percent, its highest ever.
Joe Biden’s approval rating also sank to just 40 percent.
The economy and immigration are also the top two issues for voters and Trump holds sizable leads – 8 and 15 points respectively – on those issues over Kamala Harris.
Voters also told Fox News’ pollsters they were sour on the condition of the economy.
70 percent of voters told Fox News they think the economy is in bad shape.
Only 13 percent said they were getting ahead financially in Kamala Harris’s economy.
The poll numbers of the issues – even more so than the horse race numbers – have Republicans believing the table is set for Donald Trump to win the election.
Americans hold a pessimistic view of the economy and the country writ large at the moment and want change.
And on the key issues they will vote on, Americans trust Donald Trump.
That’s why Republicans think, in the end, undecided voters will eventually break to Trump.
