Former ICE Agent Just Exposed Why Minneapolis Democrats Have Blood On Their Hands

Jan 28, 2026

Renee Good was shot dead by federal agents three weeks ago.

Now Alex Pretti is dead too – shot Saturday while interfering with an ICE operation.

And a former ICE agent just revealed exactly whose fault this is.

Minneapolis Sanctuary City Policies Created This Disaster On Purpose

Tim Miller spent years working ICE operations across America.

He knows what separates clean arrests from deadly chaos.

When Fox News asked him about Saturday's shooting, he didn't blame the agents.

"The scary part is that the police aren't with them," Miller told Sunday Night in America. "Without the police involved locally, it's a formula for disaster."

Those five words tell you everything – "formula for disaster."

This isn't bad luck.

This is exactly what Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Governor Tim Walz wanted when they ordered local cops to treat ICE agents as the enemy.

Trump sent 3,000 federal agents to Minneapolis to arrest criminal aliens that Biden invited across our border for four years.

These aren't innocent immigrants picking lettuce.

DHS arrested convicted murderers, child rapists, gang members, and suspects in billion-dollar fraud schemes.

But Frey and Walz decided protecting criminal aliens was more important than public safety.

They banned Minneapolis police from cooperating with ICE.

They released criminal aliens from jail instead of turning them over for deportation.

They turned their city into a sanctuary for the worst criminals on earth.

The result? Federal agents operating in hostile territory with zero local support.

Border Patrol Shooting Statistics Show The Real Problem

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara made a devastating comparison Sunday on Face the Nation.

His officers recovered 900 guns last year.

They arrested hundreds of violent felons.

They didn't shoot a single person.

Then federal immigration agents arrive and two U.S. citizens are dead in three weeks.

What's the difference?

Local cops know their neighborhoods, know the people, know how to handle tense situations without bodies hitting the pavement.

Federal agents are flying blind in a city where half the population has been told by Democrats that ICE agents are Nazis who deserve to be resisted.

O'Hara also revealed something Democrats hoped you'd never hear.

Minneapolis has had exactly three homicides so far in 2026.

Federal agents are responsible for two of them.

That's the stat CNN is running with to attack Trump's immigration enforcement.

Here's what they're not telling you – those are the only two law enforcement shootings because local cops have been ordered to stay away while ICE does the dangerous work Democrats refuse to do.

What The Alex Pretti Shooting Video Actually Shows

Democrats are screaming murder.

DHS says he was a domestic terrorist trying to massacre agents.

Strip away the politics and here are the facts.

Pretti showed up at an active ICE operation carrying a concealed handgun.

He started filming agents with his phone.

When an agent pushed a legal observer to the ground, Pretti physically inserted himself between them.

Agents pepper-sprayed him and attempted to control him.

At least six agents wrestled him to the ground.

During the struggle, one agent discovered Pretti's firearm and removed it.

Then shots were fired – ten rounds in five seconds.

Now here's the legal standard that actually matters.

It's called Graham v. Connor – a Supreme Court case that says use of force must be judged by "objective reasonableness."

Not what you see watching video on Twitter.

What a reasonable officer would believe in that split-second based on the information available.

Miller explained this immediately because he knows how these investigations work.

"When a gun's in play, deadly force is an option. It has to be."

Six agents wrestling an armed man who's physically resisting while protesters scream threats at them.

One agent grabs the gun.

Other agents don't know if he got it.

Someone's still fighting.

Shots fired.

That's not murder.

That's a chaotic situation created entirely by Democrats who refused to let local police provide backup and crowd control.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey Wanted This Outcome

Here's what nobody in the media will say out loud.

Minneapolis Democrats didn't accidentally create conditions for disaster.

They engineered them on purpose.

Every single policy decision they made was designed to maximize chaos around ICE operations.

Ban local police cooperation? That's deliberate.

Release criminal aliens instead of holding them for ICE? Deliberate.

Encourage protesters to "monitor" ICE operations? Deliberate.

Proclaim Minneapolis a sanctuary city? Deliberate.

File lawsuits to block ICE operations? Deliberate.

They wanted confrontations.

They wanted video footage of federal agents wrestling with "concerned citizens."

They wanted tragic outcomes they could use to attack Trump and demand ICE get abolished.

And now they've got two dead Americans they can exploit for political gain.

Frey's response to the Pretti shooting tells you everything.

Did he apologize for banning police cooperation that could have prevented this?

Did he offer to coordinate with federal agents to avoid future tragedies?

Did he take any responsibility whatsoever?

No.

He blamed Trump and demanded ICE leave Minneapolis.

The same mayor who released criminal aliens from his jails now acts shocked when federal agents have to go catch them without local backup.

Walz is even worse.

He called the immigration enforcement operation "a campaign of organized brutality against the people of our state."

Organized brutality?

Trump is arresting convicted murderers and child rapists that Biden let into Walz's state.

That's not brutality.

That's the federal government doing the job Walz refused to do because protecting criminal aliens polls better with his base than protecting Minnesotans.

Why Miller's Warning Should Terrify You

When an experienced ICE agent uses the phrase "formula for disaster," believe him.

This isn't the last shooting.

It's the beginning.

Trump deployed federal agents to every major sanctuary city in America.

Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Portland, Seattle – every place where Democrat mayors banned police cooperation.

Every one of those cities is now a powder keg.

Federal agents trying to arrest dangerous criminals with zero local support.

Democrat politicians encouraging "resistance."

Protesters showing up at operations.

Armed citizens who don't understand they're creating deadly threat scenarios.

Local cops ordered to stay away while chaos unfolds.

You think Minneapolis is bad?

Wait until this plays out in Chicago where the mayor is even more radical than Frey.

Wait until armed Antifa types in Portland decide to "observe" ICE operations.

Wait until Los Angeles – where millions of illegal aliens live – reaches the same boiling point.

Miller called it a formula for disaster because he knows exactly what's coming.

More confrontations.

More shootings.

More dead Americans.

More political exploitation.

All of it preventable with one simple change – let local police do their jobs.

ICE Agents Face More Shootings In Sanctuary Cities

Federal agents have shot twelve people since September during immigration enforcement operations nationwide.

CNN and MSNBC only care about two of them – the ones in Minneapolis.

Why?

Because Renee Good and Alex Pretti were U.S. citizens, and their deaths can be used to attack Trump.

The other ten shootings?

Illegal aliens who attacked agents first.

One rammed agents with his vehicle in a deliberate attack.

Three beat an officer with weapons.

Multiple others violently resisted arrest.

Those don't make the news because they don't fit the narrative.

But here's what you need to understand about the Minneapolis shootings.

Both happened in the one major city where Democrat leaders openly declared war on ICE operations.

Both involved protesters and "observers" showing up to interfere.

Both created exactly the chaotic conditions Miller warned about.

Both gave Democrats ammunition to demand ICE get abolished.

That's not coincidence.

That's cause and effect.

When you deliberately sabotage law enforcement cooperation, people die.

And Democrats know it.

They're counting on it.

Every shooting gives them another press conference opportunity to attack Trump.

Every tragedy lets them play the victim while ignoring their own role.

Every confrontation feeds their narrative that immigration enforcement is racist violence.

They're willing to sacrifice their own constituents to stop Trump from securing the border and removing criminal aliens.

That's not politics.

That's evil.

The real solution is simple.

Frey and Walz need to stop playing games with public safety.

Let local cops coordinate with federal agents the way every other city in America did before sanctuary city madness took over.

Provide backup, crowd control, and local knowledge that prevents these situations from escalating.

Or keep doing what you're doing and watch the body count rise while you blame everyone except yourselves.

Miller gave you the roadmap – cooperation prevents disaster.

Minneapolis Democrats chose disaster.

Now two Americans are dead, and every sanctuary city in America is next.
