Remember when they found that Chinese biolab in California packed with HIV, Ebola, and malaria?
Turns out that wasn't the only one.
The FBI just raided a Las Vegas home and discovered over 1,000 samples of biological material that looked identical to what they found in Reedley – same setup, same Chinese owner, same deadly diseases hiding in an American garage.
CCP-Linked Fugitive Caught Running Identical Illegal Biolabs In Two States
Jia Bei Zhu owns both labs.
He's the Chinese national who already got arrested for the California operation – the one where House investigators found thousands of vials labeled with HIV, tuberculosis, and what they called the deadliest known form of malaria, plus a freezer marked "Ebola."
Now he owns a house in Las Vegas where SWAT teams found the exact same setup: locked garage, multiple refrigerators full of vials with unknown liquids, a centrifuge, laboratory equipment, and biological samples meticulously stored like a professional operation.
Property manager Ori Solomon got arrested on the spot for disposing hazardous waste.
Zhu himself is already in federal custody from the California case, but his attorney swears he's not involved in Vegas.
Right.
How Many More Chinese Labs Are Hiding In Your Neighborhood?
Congressman Kevin Kiley saw the Vegas raid and said what everyone's thinking: "This can't keep happening."
He's right to be worried.
The House investigation concluded with a terrifying line: "No one knows whether there are other unknown biolabs because there is no monitoring system in place."
Think about that.
A Chinese fugitive with military ties was operating at minimum two illegal labs on American soil – one discovered only because a code enforcement officer noticed a garden hose sticking out of a warehouse.
The Vegas lab got found the same way: a code violation call that turned into a Joint Terrorism Task Force investigation.
Both labs had identical setups, same owner, same Chinese banking connections, same deadly pathogens.
And nobody was looking for them.
A Wanted Fugitive With Direct Ties To Beijing's Military Program
The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party investigated Zhu after the California discovery.
Here's what they found: He's a wanted fugitive from Canada with a $330 million judgment against him for stealing American intellectual property.
He had direct ties to Chinese state-controlled companies and military-civil fusion entities – that's Beijing's program where civilian research doubles as weapons development.
He fled to the United States under the fake identity "David He" and set up multiple companies to operate illegal labs.
His California facility received millions in unexplained wire transfers from Chinese banks while supposedly selling medical test kits – except the House investigation found he was just buying counterfeit kits from China and reselling them here.
The biolab contained nearly 1,000 transgenic mice genetically engineered to catch and carry COVID-19.
When Reedley officials begged the CDC to test the unmarked vials and coded containers, the CDC refused and ordered local authorities to destroy 140 tons of evidence – including 448 gallons of medical and biological waste – without ever testing what was actually in those vials.
How Biden's Open Border Let Chinese Biolab Operator Into America
Zhu entered the United States illegally using a false identity after fleeing Canada.
He set up shell companies, rented properties in California and Nevada, imported equipment and biological materials from China, and operated for years without anyone noticing.
This happened on Biden's watch – the same administration that threw open the border and stopped tracking who was coming in.
Chinese nationals crossing the southern border hit record numbers under Biden, and now we're finding illegal Chinese biolabs storing Ebola in residential neighborhoods.
The Vegas lab is in a regular home on the northeast side of the city.
The California warehouse was in Reedley, within blocks of the local high school, city hall, and a supermarket.
These aren't rural compounds in the middle of nowhere – they're in populated areas where a leak could infect thousands before anyone knew what was happening.
Kiley introduced bipartisan legislation with Reps. Jim Costa and David Valadao – the Preventing Illegal Laboratories and Protecting Public Health Act – to create federal oversight of high-containment labs and track dangerous pathogens.
Congress needs to hold hearings immediately because right now there's zero system to find these operations before they release something into a major American city.
And Democrats want to talk about imaginary threats while Chinese fugitives are running bioweapons labs in your neighborhoods.
