Fani Willis was hit with an ugly scandal after she took a check from this convicted felon

Fani Willis is watching her career implode from scandal.

Now her life is about to get worse after she was rocked by another one.

And Fani Willis was hit with an ugly scandal after she took a check from this convicted felon.

Fani Willis took a campaign donation from fraudster who stole $15 million

Embattled Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has another scandal on her hands.

Former Atlanta Assistant City Attorney Shelitha Robertson cut a $1,000 check to Willis’ District Attorney campaign for the Democrat Primary near the time she received $15 million fraudulently obtained in pandemic relief loans through the Paycheck Protection Program.

Robertson donated the money to Willis’ campaign in August 2020 when she first ran for Fulton County District Attorney.

She lied on her application for Paycheck Protection Program loans in April and May 2020 for businesses she owned.

“The loan applications falsely inflated the number of employees and average monthly payroll for each of the four businesses, resulting in larger PPP loans than Robertson would be legitimately entitled to obtain,” the Department of Justice stated.

She falsely claimed that her businesses had more than 400 employees to juice the federal payouts.

Robertson submitted falsified tax documents to enable her scam.

The $15 million she received in pandemic relief funded an extravagant spending spree that included a Rolls Royce, a 10-carat diamond ring worth more than $150,000, and a motorcycle.

Pandemic swindler in the same legal crowd as Fani Willis

Robertson, a Democrat, unsuccessfully ran for Fulton County Circuit Court Judge in 2010 and 2014.

She reportedly ran in the same Atlanta legal circles as Willis.

A federal jury convicted her in December 2023 for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering.

U.S. District Judge Steven D. Grimberg sentenced her to seven years in federal prison.

“It was her level of direction and confidence in being able to commit this level of fraud without being detected that instigated it in the first place,” Grimberg said in court.

Robertson began crying in court after her sentence was handed down.

“I’m dead broke,” Roberston said.

“My business is gone. My (law) license is gone. My assets are gone. The only thing I have left is my family and my faith in God,” Roberston added.

Fani Willis is watching her case collapse

The Georgia Court of Appeals effectively ended any chance Willis had of starting her case against former President Donald Trump and his allies before the November election.

They scheduled oral arguments in early October for an appeal to have her disqualified from the Trump case for improper conduct after she hired her lover, Nathan Wade, as a special prosecutor.

Any chance Willis had of taking Trump to trial before Election Day is virtually out the door.

Her case against the former President could be shut down depending on the outcome at the appeals court.

The bottom line is Fani Willis’ case against Donald Trump is on thin ice because of her corruption.
