Fani Willis suffered this major defeat that left Donald Trump grinning from ear to ear

Dec 5, 2024

Fani Willis is the last Democrat prosecutor with active lawfare against Donald Trump.

But Willis just found herself in big trouble.

And Fani Willis suffered this major defeat that left Donald Trump grinning from ear to ear.

Judge rules against Willis in transparency lawsuit

There is more bad news on the way for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Willis’ 2020 election witch hunt against Donald Trump is imploding.

The case was already on the rocks thanks to a motion to disqualify Willis after she hired her lover Nathan Wade to work as the special prosecutor.

Then Trump won, which effectively iced any attempt to bring this case to trial.

And now a judge ruled in favor of the watchdog group Judicial Watch and ordered Willis to turn over all communications between her office and Jack Smith’s team as well as the January 6 Committee.

“Fulton County, Ga., Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney ruled that Willis – the last person still prosecuting President-elect Donald Trump – violated open-records laws when she failed to respond to an August 2023 request filed in Fulton County by Judicial Watch, the group said,” the New York Post reports.

Judicial Watch head Tom Fitton celebrated the ruling as a win for transparency and declared that the American people would finally get to see the lengths to which the Biden-Kamala Harris Justice Department and the January 6 Committee on a lawfare campaign to bring down Donald Trump.

“Fani Willis is something else. We’ve been doing this work for 30 years, and this is the first time in our experience a government official has been found in default for not showing up in court to answer an open records lawsuit,” Fitton stated.

“Judicial Watch looks forward to getting any documents from the Fani Willis operation about collusion with the Biden administration and Nancy Pelosi’s Congress on her unprecedented and compromised ‘get-Trump’ prosecution,” Fitton added.

The allegations of collusion

Wade traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with the White House counsel on November 18, 2022.

In an interview with the House Judiciary Committee, Wade claimed he couldn’t remember what happened at that meeting.

This ruling may help illuminate why the special prosecutor in a state level investigation met with the White House lawyers for Donald Trump’s political opponent.

Smith and Willis also pursued similar investigations for fake crimes related to Donald Trump challenging the results of the 2020 election.

Judicial Watch is keen to see if Smith and Willis kept in communication to make sure their investigations didn’t overlap because criminal charges at either level against defendants would render them useless as a witness as they would just plead the Fifth if asked to testify.

The January 6 Committee complied with a request from the Fulton County District Attorney’s office to turn over any material related to Trump challenging the results in Georgia.

There were reportedly multiple phone calls between the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office and the January 6 Committee.

The American people will now learn what was discussed.

Voters rendered their verdict on the cases against Trump by re-electing Trump in decisive fashion.

But now Americans will get their first look at the inside dealings in a lawfare campaign to see if it was coordinated at the federal and state level.
