Eric Trump Told Jen Psaki to Open Google and Now He Is Taking Her to Court

May 19, 2026

Jen Psaki spent four years lying for the Biden White House.

Now she's doing it from a TV studio – and Eric Trump is taking her to court for it.

Psaki told her MSNOW audience that Eric used his father's historic China trip to pursue chip deals for a company he had never set foot inside – and Eric Trump's response was surgical.

What Psaki Got Wrong and How Wrong She Got It

On her show The Briefing, Psaki claimed that ALT5 Sigma – a Las Vegas fintech company – is pursuing a deal with a Chinese computer chip manufacturer tied to China's government.

She then connected that deal to Eric Trump, suggesting his seat on Air Force One beside his father was a conflict of interest.

There was one problem.

Eric Trump was never on ALT5 Sigma's board.

Not now.

Not ever.

"To be clear: Contrary to her monolog and blatant lies, I have NEVER been on the board of ALT5 – not now, not ever," Trump wrote on X.

He added that any person "with basic access to Google and willing to open a company's annual report or proxy statements would know this."

Then he went further: "I have zero business interests in China. No properties, no investments, nothing!"

Psaki cited Financial Times reporting as her cover – which means she read a story, failed to check the central claim against public filings, and broadcast it as fact to a national audience.

That's not a mistake.

That's defamation.

The Standard Psaki Abandoned When She Left the Podium

Here's what makes this worth paying attention to.

Psaki spent years as Joe Biden's press secretary while the president's own son was using overseas trips to build foreign financial relationships.

Hunter Biden accompanied his father on multiple international visits.

The House Oversight Committee launched a formal investigation into Biden family foreign dealings in 2022 – scrutiny that Donald Trump made central to his 2024 campaign precisely because the media never did.

Eric Trump went to the Great Wall.

He said so directly: "I joined this trip for one reason: as a loving son who adores my father and wouldn't miss being by his side for this incredible moment."

Lara Trump was with him.

The same plane also carried Elon Musk, Tim Cook, Jensen Huang, Larry Fink, and the CEOs of Boeing, Citi, and Goldman Sachs.

That's not a corruption trip.

That's America showing up.

Why Eric Trump Is Right to Sue

The media has spent a decade assuming that smearing Trump family members carries no legal consequences.

Cite a newspaper.

Move on.

Eric Trump just changed that math.

Accusing someone of sitting on a board they've never been affiliated with – in a segment framed around foreign corruption – is not protected opinion.

It's a factual claim.

It's verifiably false.

And Psaki made it on a national broadcast.

Citing the Financial Times doesn't insulate her – it just means there may be more than one defendant when this gets to court.

Conservative figures have quietly absorbed media smears for years because litigation is slow and the press cycle is fast.

The Trumps are done accepting it.
