Eric Trump Just Told a British Journalist Something That Left Him Speechless

Feb 21, 2026

The left spent years telling you the Trump family was whining about politics.

Then Eric Trump sat down with The Telegraph last week and laid out exactly what actually happened – subpoena by subpoena, raid by raid, fabricated dossier by fabricated dossier.

The journalist tried to call it "legitimate disagreement." Eric Trump shut that down in about thirty seconds flat – and what he said next explains why every single indictment against his family has now collapsed.

Trump Witch Hunt by the Numbers: 112 Subpoenas, Zero Crimes

Eric Trump was subpoenaed 112 times – more than any private citizen in American history.

Think about that number for a second.

One hundred and twelve times, Democrats forced a man to appear before investigators, lawyers, and grand juries, spending millions in defense costs.

His crime? Being the son of Donald Trump and running the Trump Organization while his father was president.

"Having done nothing wrong," Eric said during the interview. "Only because I was the proxy to my father."

This is what the weaponization of justice actually looks like in practice – not a speech on the Senate floor, not a nasty campaign ad, but attorneys general calling every DA in the country and coordinating an all-out legal assault on a private citizen's livelihood.

And here's the part the media buried: it didn't work.

The Steele Dossier, the Mar-a-Lago Raid and the Weaponization of Government

Democrats didn't just file lawsuits. They manufactured a reality.

The Steele Dossier – paid for by Hillary Clinton's campaign – claimed Trump had prostitutes performing acts in a Moscow hotel room. Totally fabricated. The "secret server" communicating with the Kremlin? Made up from scratch. Eric Trump said it plainly: "We don't know a damn person in the Kremlin. We had nothing to do with Russia."

They raided Mar-a-Lago, rifling through Melania's closet and seizing documents protected by attorney-client privilege and medical records protected under HIPAA.

They convinced financial institutions to cut off the Trump Organization's banking – a tactic that has nothing to do with courts or evidence and everything to do with strangling a political enemy financially.

And through all of it, they had exactly nothing on Eric Trump personally.

The British journalist – Tim Stanley of The Telegraph – pushed back, suggesting some of this might have been "legitimate disagreement" expressed through legal means.

Eric wasn't having it. "That's different than raiding somebody's house. That's different than subpoenaing their children with the intent to literally try and bankrupt a company."

He's right. There's a word for using government power to destroy someone personally when you can't beat them politically. It isn't "democracy."

Every Trump Indictment Dismissed – While Letitia James Gets Indicted Herself

The results are in, and they vindicate everything the Trump family has been saying for years.

All four federal and state indictments against Donald Trump have been dismissed or dropped – the federal election case thrown out after Trump won the presidency, the Georgia case dismissed by a new special prosecutor who called Fani Willis's sprawling charges a legal mess, the classified documents case tossed by Judge Aileen Cannon on constitutional grounds.

Meanwhile, Letitia James – who spent years weaponizing her office against the Trump Organization – was herself federally indicted on mortgage fraud charges in October 2025.

The indictment was subsequently dismissed on a technicality over her prosecutor's appointment, and two grand juries have since refused to re-indict her.

But here's what your friends in the media won't tell you: the career prosecutors assigned to James's case found the evidence so thin they wrote a memo saying it couldn't be proven beyond a reasonable doubt – and were fired for it.

Eric Trump put the contrast plainly: they didn't go after Hunter Biden, who had documented evidence of drug use, prostitution, and foreign business deals on a laptop the FBI sat on for over a year.

But the guy who tucks his kids in at 8:45 every night, says a little prayer to them every night, and has never gotten so much as a speeding ticket – they came after him 112 times.

That's not politics. That's a campaign to destroy a family.
