You will be hard pressed to find better role models than Phil and Kay Robertson.
But it looks like the iconic couple’s days in front of a TV audience may be numbered.
Duck Dynasty fans were filled with sadness after this news broke about Phil and Kay.
Duck Dynasty was the last real family show
Trying to find people to be living role models for your family these days is nearly impossible.
Nearly everyone in pop culture and Hollywood these days are degenerates you wouldn’t let your kids near.
And these degenerates are the ones who fill our television screens on a daily basis, spewing the worst types of morals and beliefs that you can imagine.
As you would imagine, the average American family has just stopped all together trying to find something to watch with the family.
But one show that went against the grain and actually promoted American family values was Duck Dynasty.
Duck Dynasty was one of the top shows to hit the airwaves over the past couple of decades.
Families were excited that they actually had something they could watch with their kids that was entertaining and mainstream.
And the Robertsons showed America what it took to be a good, honest working and moral family these days.
But this show never would have been able to exist if it wasn’t for the guidance of family founders Phil and Kay Robertson.
The couple were fan favorites and really showed what it meant to put God first.
And they really turned the show into something nothing like it on modern television.
Even as Duck Dynasty left television, Phil and Kay were still making an impact as they led the Robertson family to start other forms of entertainment like through podcasts and show offshoots.
All while continuing to put faith and family upfront and center for all to witness.
But fans of Duck Dynasty were left sick to their stomachs earlier this year as they heard the news from the family that Phil and Kay weren’t doing too well.
Say a prayer for Phil and Kay Robertson
Like it will with most of us if we are lucky enough to make it to old age, mother time was doing a number on Phil and Kay’s health and mental capacities.
But right when fans were hopeful that the couple would be making a road to recovery to manageable good health, the family broke the news on the Unashamed With the Robertson Family podcast that the two were really struggling.
As Jase Robertson, Phil and Kay’s son, told fans, “I’m just giving the blunt truth. I’ll say not good. We’re making them comfortable and we’re doing the best we can. So I think that’s just what you do.”
Jase continued the heartbreaking news, adding, “For my mom, it’s been a lot better this past week, because she was really not doing good. She got an infection from a fall, from a cut that had happened earlier…she’s still in the hospital, but (now it’s) more rehab, physically, and trying to get her to eat. We were kinda dealing with the fact that maybe this is it. That’s what it seemed like in the moment. It seemed close there. So it was difficult.”
This is news no one wanted to hear.

But at least you can take this moment to reflect on what the couple stands for and maybe even model your life off of their good choices.
