Fox News proposes debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump
The normal rhythm of a Presidential Election includes three debates between the nominees and one featuring the running mates.
This cycle saw two Presidential debates – Trump faced off once each against Joe Biden and Kamala Harris – while Vice-Presidential nominees J.D. Vance and Tim Walz had their debate.
At the 11th hour, Fox News Media President & Executive Editor, Jay Wallace, and Vice President of Politics, Jessica Loker, dispatched a letter to Kamala Harris and Donald Trump proposing what would be the third Presidential debate to take place on either October 24 or the 27.
“With a month to go until the last votes are cast, FOX News Media would like to make one final pitch for a debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump,” the letter stated.
“This would present an opportunity for each candidate to make his or her closing arguments,” the letter also read.
Donald Trump rejects third debate
Donald Trump slammed the door on anymore debates, saying he already won his two debates and J.D. Vance wiped the floor with Walz.
Trump also noted that Kamala Harris rejected a September 4 debate with Trump because Kamala Harris feared the Fox News moderators wouldn’t rig the debate the way the ABC and CBS moderators rigged their debates by interjecting on the Democrats behalf with bogus fact checks.
“I WON THE LAST TWO DEBATES, ONE WITH CROOKED JOE, THE OTHER WITH LYIN’ KAMALA. I ACCEPTED THE FOX-NEWS INVITATION TO DEBATE KAMALA ON SEPTEMBER 4TH, BUT SHE TURNED IT DOWN. JD VANCE EASILY WON HIS DEBATE WITH TAMPON TIM WALZ, WHO CALLED HIMSELF A KNUCKLEHEAD!” Trump declared in a post on Truth Social.
Trump stated that he was leading in the polls and that in boxing only the losing fighter demands a rematch.
“I AM ALSO LEADING IN THE POLLS, WITH THE LEAD GETTING BIGGER BY THE DAY – AND LEADING IN ALL SWING STATES. THE FIRST THING A PRIZEFIGHTER DOES WHEN HE LOSES A FIGHT IS SAY THAT HE ‘DEMANDS A REMATCH.’” Trump added.
The latest swing state polling from Emerson showed Trump winning enough swing states to reach 270 Electoral College votes.

Journalist Mark Halperin reported private polling from both Democrats and Republicans showed the terrain growing rockier for Kamala Harris.
Trump said that given the polling and the fact that this debate would take place long after early voting began, it served no purpose.
“IT IS VERY LATE IN THE PROCESS, VOTING HAS ALREADY BEGUN – THERE WILL BE NO REMATCH! BESIDES, KAMALA STATED CLEARLY, YESTERDAY, THAT SHE WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT THAN JOE BIDEN, SO THERE IS NOTHING TO DEBATE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!” Trump declared.
