State-run media launches vicious hoax against Donald Trump
Former President Donald Trump’s trip to Arlington National Cemetery for a wreath-laying ceremony for the 13 soldiers killed at Abbey Gate during the botched Afghanistan withdrawal was a moment of solemn remembrance.
The 13 Gold Star families of the soldiers invited his campaign to commemorate the third anniversary of their deaths.
Vice President Kamala Harris has never spoken with the families, and both she and Joe Biden turned down an invitation to attend the event.
She wants to ignore the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal because it makes her look bad.
That’s why National Public Radio (NPR) launched a hoax against Trump to take the attention off of her.
A story from the outlet claimed members of the Trump campaign “had a verbal and physical altercation” with an employee of the cemetery during the wreath-laying ceremony.
NPR cited anonymous sources and accused the Trump campaign of breaking the cemetery’s rules by taking pictures at the event.
Kamala’s campaign ran with this bogus story to attack the Trump campaign.
Donald Trump comes out swinging
The Presidential race is currently a coin flip so Democrats and their media allies are ramping up the hoaxes and lies.
Former President Donald Trump dropped the hammer on Kamala for the manufactured Arlington National Cemetery controversy.
“There was no conflict or ‘fighting’ at Arlington National Cemetery last week. It was a made up story by Comrade Kamala and her misinformation squad,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “She made it all up to make up for the fact that she and Sleepy Joe have BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS for the INCOMPETENT AFGHANISTAN Withdrawal – THE MOST EMBARRASSING DAY IN U.S. HISTORY!!!”
The media tried to make the story about Trump visiting Arlington National Cemetery instead of Kamala ignoring the Gold Star families after the Biden-Harris administration botched the Afghanistan withdrawal.
“They should have been at Arlington, not on a beach or studying for a Debate. Thank you to my friends, the GREAT GOLD STAR FAMILIES, for revealing the TRUTH OF A BEAUTIFUL DAY OF HONOR. Could not have been a nicer moment-And there were no fights or problems, only in the heads of those that are destroying our Country!” Trump added.
Kelly Barnett, the mother of Marine Staff Sergeant Taylor Hoover, who died at Abbey Gate, told Fox News that President Joe Biden and Kamala were invited several times to attend the wreath-laying ceremony.
“I didn’t invite her personally or him personally. Governor Cox of Utah sent [Biden] a letter, letting him know the celebration that we were having, the ceremony that we were having, [and] told him that it would be good for him to be there,” Barnett said.
“Also, Arlington Cemetery let them know of the ceremony, so they . . . went without any kind of response from either one. So, they were aware of the ceremony. They knew that it would be in their best interest to be there, and they refused to attend,” Barnett added.
Kamala Harris and her allies politicized the Arlington National Cemetery ceremony to keep her from looking bad.
