Trump blasts Kamala Harris over economic meltdown
The warning lights for the economy are blinking red that a recession is right around the corner.
July’s jobs report came in weaker than expected with unemployment spiking to 4.3 percent.
The stock market sank 1,000 points as global fears of a U.S. downturn took root.
Kamala Harris and Joe Biden engineered this disaster through their inflationary spending, which caused the panic in the markets over the fears of a recession hitting America.

In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump laid out the stakes of the election as a contest between the life Americans enjoyed under his Presidency and what he argued was chaos and calamity under Biden and Harris.
Trump argued the market tanked because investors were terrified Harris could win the election and they had no desire to see her implement the type of agenda she brought to San Francisco and then California at large as a District Attorney and Senator.
“Of course there is a massive market downturn. Kamala is even worse than Crooked Joe. Markets will NEVER accept the Radical Left Lunatic that DESTROYED San Francisco and California, as a whole. Next move, THE GREAT DEPRESSION OF 2024! You can’t play games with MARKETS. KAMALA CRASH!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The choice in the election
Trump framed the election as the voters having a choice over which economic pathway they wanted to pursue over the next four years.
“VOTERS HAVE A CHOICE — TRUMP PROSPERITY, OR THE KAMALA CRASH & GREAT DEPRESSION OF 2024, NOT TO MENTION THE PROBABILITY OF WORLD WAR lll IF THESE VERY STUPID PEOPLE REMAIN IN OFFICE. REMEMBER, TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!” Trump posted on Truth Social.
Trump then doubled down on this two-path choice for voters.
“KAMALA CRASH!” Trump added.
“TRUMP CASH vs. KAMALA CRASH!” Trump declared.
Trump then posted a video his campaign made about Kamala Harris’ failed economic record.
The economy is always the number one issue to voters in an election.
And while polls show Harris now leading Donald Trump nationally, they also show that Trump holds the edge over Harris on the question of who they trust more to handle the economy.
Harris and the Democrats want this election to be about “vibes.”
That’s why Kamala “Coconut” Harris takes no questions from reporters and counts on viral GenZ TikTok videos and social media memes to make her seem “cool” and fresh.
Trump wants the campaign to be about issues because that’s where he holds the advantage.
Whichever frame voters see the election through will determine who wins.
