Donald Trump revealed this scary plan from Kamala Harris to wipe out manufacturing

Aug 23, 2024

Kamala Harris is a clear and present danger to the country’s economy.

She already has one plan underway to fundamentally transform the country.

And Donald Trump revealed this scary plan from Kamala Harris to wipe out manufacturing.

Biden-Harris EPA rule will mandate electricity created by green energy

President Joe Biden can’t pass the most ambitious portions of his green energy agenda through Congress, so he’s using the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to do it.

Biden’s EPA issued a rule that requires that coal-fired power plants use expensive and unproven carbon capture technology or face closure by 2032.

Natural gas-fired power plants are facing similar regulations to reduce emissions to fight climate change.

The goal is to make the regulatory hurdles and costs so high that power companies shut down coal and natural gas-fired power plants to switch to wind and solar.

This transition threatens to decimate the economy and wipe out the country’s manufacturing base.

Vice President Kamala Harris – who supports the Green New Deal – can keep this rule in place if she wins the election.

Donald Trump says Kamala’s jihad against energy will end

The manufacturing-heavy Rust Belt swing states loom large in the year’s Presidential election.

Former President Donald Trump traveled to York, Pennsylvania, where he vowed to stop the EPA’s power plant rule if he’s elected.

“I am announcing today that when I return to the White House, I will end this anti-American-energy crusade and terminate Kamala’s so-called Power Plant Rule,” Trump said. “Instead of shutting down power plants, we will open dozens and dozens more.”

Trump drew a clear contrast between himself and Kamala on energy.

“Kamala stands for energy disappearance and factory obliteration,” Trump stated. “I stand for manufacturing dominance. Kamala is on a regulatory jihad to shut down power plants all across America.”

Electricity prices are up nearly 30% since January 2021 when the Biden-Harris administration entered office.

Their top priority has been boosting green energy to replace coal and natural gas as a source of electricity.

“At least 50 existing power plants have closed since [Kamala] took office,” Trump explained. “They are closing everything. That’s why in California you have blackouts.”

Trump embraced an all of the above energy strategy which includes next-generation nuclear power plants.

“I will issue rapid approvals for new energy infrastructure — and we will embrace all forms of energy, including nuclear. […] We will make a historic commitment to bringing advanced small modular nuclear reactors online,” Trump stated.

The former President and SpaceX founder, Elon Musk, discussed the need for nuclear power during their Spaces interview on X.

“Small nuclear, we call it,” Trump said.

He added that nuclear energy is “ultra safe” and “ultra clean.”

Trump and Kamala are locked in a tight race in Pennsylvania.

The state is now the second largest producer of natural gas in the country behind Texas from hydraulic fracking.

Donald Trump’s commitment to unleash American energy production and revive manufacturing could give him an edge in the Rust Belt.
