Next to Donald Trump, Elon Musk was the big winner of the 2024 election.
All hell is about to break loose.
And that’s because Donald Trump offered Elon Musk one job that has the Washington, D.C. Swamp shaking in terror.
Elon Musk in charge of government efficiency
Elon Musk buying Twitter and ending the censorship protocols may have turned the tide in the Presidential Election.
Without the ability to censor Trump and his supporters, the Left couldn’t control the information flow to voters and the public could see the truth about Trump and Kamala Harris.
Musk endorsed Trump after an assassin shot Trump in the head back in July and spent $119 million on Super PACs supporting Donald Trump.
In September, Trump announced he would name Musk to run the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) – a commission Musk would lead to root out trillions of dollars in wasteful government spending.
“I will create a government efficiency commission tasked with conducting a complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government and making recommendations for drastic reforms,” Trump declared. “And Elon, because he’s not very busy, has agreed to head that task force.”
Before the election, Musk’s mother Maye told Fox News that Elon could do for government what he did for Twitter, which was to fire massive numbers of employees and achieve operating efficiency by slashing costs.
“He’s going to just get rid of people who are not working, or don’t have a job, or not doing a job well, just like he did on Twitter,” Maye Musk stated, adding, “He can do it for the government, too.”
Cantor Fitzgerald executive and Trump transition chair Howard Lutnick spoke at Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden and asked Musk if he would want to help eliminate wasteful government spending.
“How much do you think we can rip out of this wasted, $6.5 trillion Harris-Biden budget?” Lutinick asked Musk.
“I think we can do at least $2 trillion,” Musk declared.
“Your money is being wasted, and the Department of Government Efficiency is going to fix that,” he added. “We’re going to get the government off your back and out of your pocketbook.”
Americans always say they would like to see the government run like a business.
The national debt is $35 trillion and counting.
In business, money in has to at least equal money going out if you want to keep the doors open and the lights on.
Because the Federal Reserve can fire up the printing press at a moment’s notice, tax-and-spend and borrow-like-there’s-no-tomorrow politicians like Kamala Harris and Joe Biden drowned America in red ink.
Elon Musk and Donald Trump are two successful businessmen offering the American people a real chance to see business sensibility brought to government.
