Donald Trump Just Told Ilhan Omar to Get Out of America and She Proved His Point

Jul 29, 2026

Ilhan Omar spent years demanding respect from a country she called racist – then got a front-row seat to what that country actually thinks of her.

Now the DOJ is investigating her finances, the House Oversight Committee is demanding her husband's bank records, and her net worth just mysteriously collapsed from $30 million to nearly nothing.

Donald Trump named it out loud Friday night – and Omar's meltdown response proved every word of it.

From $30 Million to Nothing Overnight

At the White House Correspondents' Dinner on July 24, Trump didn't just roast Ilhan Omar – he laid out a case.

He told the room she was "reportedly being investigated for fraud," claimed her net worth had collapsed from over $30 million to less than $18,000 after reporters started asking questions, and called her a "low IQ person" and "dishonest."

Then he brought up the viral clip – the one where Omar stood at a podium opposing Trump's deportation policy and referred to World War II as "World War 11."

She said it in January 2025 during a press conference pushing to repeal the Alien Enemies Act.

The clip spread to 700,000 views on X.

Trump didn't need to editorialize.

The clip did the work.

"She shouldn't be here," he said. "She shouldn't be in our country."

The Fraud Investigation She Won't Talk About

Omar's finances aren't a footnote – they're the story.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer formally requested financial records in February from two companies tied to her husband, Tim Mynett.

His businesses went from a reported value of $51,000 in 2023 to as much as $30 million in 2024 – a jump of more than 58,000 percent while Minnesota's massive fraud scandal was blowing up around them.

Then the press started asking questions.

Omar's office amended the disclosures.

The $30 million became less than $125,000.

A winery previously valued at up to $5 million got revised to "none."

Mynett's reported income dropped to between $200 and $1,000.

VP JD Vance announced in May that the DOJ was formally investigating Omar for "immigration fraud and family finances."

Omar's response to all of it: silence, or attacks on the people asking.

Omar Fired Back and Handed Trump the Win

After Trump's remarks, Omar went to X and called him "the idiot who runs our country."

She wrote: "The idiot who runs our country says this but doesn't have the courage or evidence to come after me. This should tell you how low IQ he is."

She added that Trump should be the one to get out of America.

Think about that.

A congresswoman under active DOJ investigation for fraud, whose husband's net worth somehow evaporated $30 million in the span of one news cycle, is calling the President of the United States low-IQ for pointing it out.

She dared him to "come after her."

The DOJ already is.

Every Road Leads Back to Omar

Here's what the media won't connect for you.

The Feeding Our Future scandal – hundreds of millions stolen from a pandemic child-feeding program – is the largest fraud case in Minnesota history.

Convicted defendants registered shell companies using a Lakeville home address.

Omar's sister Sahra Noor registered her $20 million USAID consulting firm at that same Lakeville address.

Omar has refused to cooperate with investigators.

Her husband's companies went from $51,000 to $30 million in value during the exact years that fraud money was moving through the Minnesota Somali community – then collapsed back to nothing the moment Congress started asking where the money came from.

That's not an accounting error.

That's a pattern.

Omar has survived every previous investigation by calling it racism and waiting for the press to move on.

The DOJ doesn't move on.

Trump wore a "Trump 2028" hat at the end of the night as a joke.

Ilhan Omar woke up Saturday under active federal investigation.

That part isn't a joke.
