Donald Trump never misses an opportunity to remind Democrats of their failures.
And Trump just found a way to make sure they never forget.
Because Donald Trump just humiliated Barack Obama and Joe Biden in the most public way possible.
Trump installs bronze plaques roasting his predecessors
President Trump's White House installed bronze plaques beneath every presidential portrait in his "Presidential Walk of Fame" along the West Wing Colonnade.
The plaques read like Trump's greatest hits from Truth Social — complete with capital letters, exclamation points, and the kind of direct language that makes Washington, D.C. bureaucrats squirm.
"Sleepy Joe Biden was, by far, the worst President in American History," the plaque beneath Biden's "portrait" declares.¹
Biden doesn't even get an actual portrait — Trump replaced it with a photo of an autopen, the mechanical device Biden allegedly used to sign documents when he couldn't hold a pen steady.
The second Biden plaque gets even more brutal.
"Nicknamed both 'Sleepy' and 'Crooked,' Joe Biden was dominated by his Radical Left handlers. They and their allies in the Fake News Media attempted to cover up his severe mental decline, and his unprecedented use of the Autopen," it reads.²
Then comes the knockout punch: "Following his humiliating debate loss to President Trump in the big June 2024 debate, he was forced to withdraw from his campaign for re-election in disgrace."³
Obama gets the same treatment.
Trump identified him by his full name — "Barack Hussein Obama" — and called him "one of the most divisive political figures in American History."⁴
The Obama plaque tears into the Affordable Care Act, describing it as "the highly ineffective 'Unaffordable' Care Act."⁵
It notes Obama "spied on the 2016 Presidential Campaign of Donald J. Trump, and presided over the creation of the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, the worst political scandal in American History."⁶
Hillary Clinton gets dragged into the mix despite never being President
Here's where Trump really twists the knife.
Hillary Clinton never served as President, so she doesn't get a portrait in the Walk of Fame.
But Trump made sure she's mentioned twice.
Under Obama's portrait, the plaque states his "handpicked successor, Hillary Rodham Clinton, would then lose the Presidency to Donald J. Trump."⁷
And beneath Bill Clinton's portrait sits the line: "In 2016, President Clinton's wife, Hillary, lost the Presidency to President Donald J. Trump!"⁸
Trump couldn't resist reminding everyone that Hillary lost — not once, but twice in the same hallway.
The plaques sit in the colonnade that Trump walks through every day on his way to the Oval Office.
Meaning every foreign dignitary, visiting leader, and White House guest sees Trump's version of presidential history before they sit down with him.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended the plaques as "eloquently written descriptions of each President and the legacy they left behind."⁹
She added that "many were written directly by the President himself."¹⁰
Democrats refuse comment on their public humiliation
Neither Biden's nor Obama's offices provided comment when asked about the plaques.
They know there's no good response.
Complaining makes them look thin-skinned.
Ignoring it means accepting Trump's narrative is now permanently displayed in the White House.
Even Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska — who rarely agrees with Trump — told reporters she was "really disturbed by that."¹¹
But that misses the entire point.
Trump doesn't care about maintaining the fiction that all presidents respect each other after leaving office.
He's not interested in the genteel tradition where ex-presidents pretend their successors didn't wreck the country.
Trump watched Biden spend four years trying to erase every accomplishment from his first term — from energy independence to border security to Middle East peace.
Biden blamed Trump for everything that went wrong, from COVID to Afghanistan to inflation, while taking credit for the strong economy Trump built.
Now Trump's making sure history remembers exactly what Biden's presidency actually was: a disaster that nearly destroyed the country.
The plaques represent something bigger than petty insults.
They're Trump refusing to let Democrats write a false history where Obama was beloved and Biden was competent.
Trump understands that whoever controls the narrative controls how future generations understand the present.
For the next four years — and possibly longer if Trump decides these plaques stay — every person who walks through the White House will see the truth about Biden and Obama.
No mainstream media spin.
No fact-checking with "context."
Just Trump's unfiltered assessment of the two men who tried hardest to destroy him.
And there's nothing they can do about it.
