The global elite thought they could control President Trump.
They're about to learn otherwise.
And Donald Trump just delivered one message at Davos 2026 that has globalists panicking.
Trump brings record U.S. delegation to World Economic Forum 2026
Donald Trump is bringing the biggest American delegation in history to Davos this week.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Energy Secretary Chris Wright, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff are all making the trip to the Swiss Alps.
The message is clear: Trump isn't going to Davos to play nice with the globalist crowd.
Trump is scheduled to deliver his speech Wednesday at the World Economic Forum's annual gathering of roughly 3,000 political leaders, corporate CEOs, and international elites.
European leaders are bracing for impact.
EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen scrambled to deliver her own speech Tuesday morning, trying to pitch "European independence" before Trump takes the stage.
Denmark refuses to even show up after Trump's Greenland demands.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky canceled his planned appearance.
The globalists at Davos can sense Trump is coming with a wrecking ball, not an olive branch.
Trump's Venezuela raid and Greenland tariffs cripple globalist control
The World Economic Forum has spent 55 years building a system of transnational control.
Klaus Schwab founded the WEF in 1971.
The Bretton Woods fixed-exchange rate system collapsed in 1973, shifting focus from management to broader economic and social issues.
Davos became the place where globalist elites coordinated their agenda of "stakeholder capitalism" and weakened national sovereignty.
Trump's already struck at the heart of their operation.
His military-judicial raid in Venezuela that brought dictator Nicolás Maduro to New York shattered their Caribbean money laundering networks.
The administration withdrew from 66 international organizations and treaties that Marco Rubio called "a sprawling architecture of global governance" serving "elite networks of the multilateral NGO complex."
Trump pulled America out of UN climate orthodoxy enforcers, human rights frauds that protect terrorists, and population control schemes dating back to the UN's founding.
The globalists built these institutions over decades to constrain American sovereignty and force compliance with their green fascist agenda.
Trump demolished them in his first 10 days back in office.
Treasury Secretary Bessent is now following the money trail from globalist foundations straight into the 501(c)(3) organizations funding domestic chaos.
Trump threatens Europe with tariffs as Greenland crisis rocks Davos
Trump's not just attacking the global elite's institutional power.
He's hitting them where it really hurts — in their wallets.
The President announced a 10% tariff on eight European nations unless they back off his Greenland acquisition plan.
Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Finland all face the February 1 deadline.
Trump even threatened 200% tariffs on French wine and champagne to pressure Emmanuel Macron into joining his "Board of Peace" initiative for Gaza.
European leaders are in full panic mode calling Trump's demands "blackmail" and warning about the collapse of the transatlantic alliance.
Von der Leyen promised Europe's response would be "unflinching, united and proportional."
But Trump's already shown he doesn't care what the globalists think.
His team made clear the President will "emphasize that the United States and Europe must leave behind economic stagnation and the policies that caused it."
That's code for: Stop with the climate cult nonsense, end the regulatory stranglehold, and quit trying to dictate American policy.
The World Economic Forum picked "A Spirit of Dialogue" as this year's theme.
The real question is whether Trump will speak with the Davos crowd or at them.
Given everything he's done in his first days back in office — the Venezuela operation, withdrawing from globalist treaties, investigating NGO funding, and now the tariff threats — the answer is obvious.
Trump's walking into Davos to deliver the terms of surrender.
The globalist system Klaus Schwab built to replace national sovereignty with corporate control is under assault.
And Trump's bringing the fight right to their doorstep in the Swiss Alps.
