The Left spent Easter weekend convinced the President was dead.
While Trump worked to bring home an Air Force colonel hiding in a mountain crevice deep inside Iran, his opponents flooded social media with claims he was lying in a hospital bed at Walter Reed.
Donald Trump Jr. saw it and called them exactly what they are.
How the Trump Walter Reed Hospital Rumor Started and Spread
At 11:08 a.m. Saturday, the White House issued a press lid – a routine notice that Trump wouldn't be making public appearances for the day.
That's all it took.
Within hours, "Trump Walter Reed" and "Trump hospital" were trending on Google with more than 500,000 searches.
Accounts on X posted unverified claims that roads and airspace near Walter Reed had been restricted.

Someone recycled an old video of Trump leaving Walter Reed after the Butler assassination attempt and presented it as breaking news.
Left-wing commentator Ed Krassenstein declared with zero evidence that Trump was hospitalized.
The White House Rapid Response account answered them directly: "Deranged liberals cook up insane conspiracy theories when @POTUS goes 12 hours without speaking to press."
Meanwhile, the Marine sentry was standing outside the West Wing – the customary signal that the President is in the Oval Office.

Trump posted nine times on Truth Social that Saturday, covering the Iran standoff, the jobs report, and the ongoing rescue mission he was personally directing.
The left wasn't confused. They chose this.

While liberals were spreading death rumors, Trump was directing one of the most daring military rescue operations in American history.
An F-15E Strike Eagle had been shot down over Iran.
The weapons systems officer – a full colonel – ejected and disappeared into enemy territory.
Iranian forces launched a massive manhunt with a bounty on his head.
The colonel, injured from the ejection, climbed through rugged terrain to a 7,000-foot ridgeline and hid in a mountain crevice with nothing but a pistol, a communication device, and a tracking beacon.
Trump spent Friday and Saturday in the West Wing, moving between the Oval Office and the adjacent dining room, receiving real-time updates as Delta Force and SEAL Team Six went in under cover of darkness.
The CIA ran a parallel deception campaign inside Iran to mislead Revolutionary Guard forces closing in on the colonel's position.
Israel postponed its own planned strikes to avoid interfering with the operation.

Here's the part that should make every American's blood boil.
The viral video supposedly showing Trump being rushed to Walter Reed?
It was footage from when he was released from the hospital after being shot in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The left took video from the assassination attempt against a sitting president – and repackaged it as proof of a death hoax.
That's not confusion. That's premeditation.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung answered them on X: "There has never been a President who has worked harder for the American people than President Trump. On this Easter weekend, he has been working nonstop in the White House and Oval Office."
Donald Trump Jr. saw the screenshots of accounts spreading the lie – accounts claiming Trump was dead or dying while he was personally overseeing a combat rescue behind enemy lines – and said it in two words: "Sick people."

He's right.
These aren't concerned citizens.
They're political operatives who saw a 12-hour press lid and used it to tell America their President was dead on Easter Sunday – while that President was bringing an American hero home from inside Iran.
They lost the election. They lost the argument.
So now they spread death hoaxes.
And while they were doing that, Trump rescued a colonel who spent two days hiding in an Iranian mountain crevice with Iranian forces closing in from every direction.
