Fox News built its most-watched show around a Democrat who uses it to spread DNC talking points to 4 million conservatives every night.
Trump finally said out loud what every viewer has been thinking.
And now he wants Fox executives to do something about it.
The Lie That Triggered the Response
Jessica Tarlov went on The Five Thursday and told the audience – confidently, as established fact – that Trump has a 35% approval rating.
It was a Democratic Party talking point dressed up as data, and nobody on the panel challenged her.
Trump was watching from Air Force One, and he wasn't having it.
"I am watching one of the Least Attractive and Talented People on all of Television, Jessica Tarlov," he posted on Truth Social. "Her Democrat soundbites are FAKE. She makes up 'Poll Numbers,' and nobody challenges her, because she is so boring."

He then fired a direct message at Fox leadership.
"GET HER OFF THE AIR, SHE IS BAD FOR OUR COUNTRY!"
What the Real Numbers Actually Say
Tarlov's 35% figure doesn't appear in any credible poll.
Fox News conducted its own national survey of registered voters in January 2026 and found Trump at 44% approval.
Rasmussen's daily tracking that same month showed 44% approval as well.
Tarlov cited a number her own network can't find – and she cited it on the most-watched conservative program in the country.
This is what your Fox News subscription pays for.
She's Been Doing This for Months
This was not a one-time mistake.
In June 2025, Tarlov did the same thing – cited unfavorable polling numbers on air to undermine Trump – and he called her "a failed TV personality" and "a disgrace to television broadcasting."
In July 2025, he called her "a real loser" during a live broadcast.
Two weeks ago, Trump phoned into The Five on a day Tarlov wasn't even on the panel and told the hosts he was glad she wasn't there.

On April 6, he posted a direct demand to Fox executives.
"For Fox executives only, take Jessica Tarlov off the air," Trump wrote.
"She is, from her voice, to her lies, and everything else about her, one of the worst 'personalities' on television, a real loser!"
Fox has ignored every request.
Fox Is Choosing Its Liberal Over Its President
Here's what that tells you.
The Five has been the most-watched show on cable news for 18 consecutive quarters.
It averages 4 million viewers a night.
Those are Trump voters tuning in.
And Fox's response to the president of the United States asking them to stop broadcasting Democratic Party misinformation to his own base is to do nothing.
Fox built The Five on a simple formula: four conservatives, one liberal, constant argument.
Tarlov is the liberal.
She is a former Democratic Party pollster and strategist who has spent years inside the machine that produces the talking points she delivers every night on air.
She knows exactly what she's doing when she cites a 35% approval number.
She is doing her job – and her job is not to inform your conservative uncle.

Her job is to demoralize him.
The Bigger Problem Nobody Is Saying
Trump also unloaded Thursday on Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson, and Candace Owens – all three of whom have broken with him over the Iran war.
"I hear Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson, and Candace Owens are dying fast," he wrote.
"Their numbers are terrible. Nobody believes them anymore."
What connects Tarlov, Kelly, Carlson, and Owens is the same thing: all four are using media platforms to push narratives that undercut the president's agenda.
The difference is that Tarlov does it on Fox – the network conservatives trust – which makes her far more dangerous than any of the others.
A Democrat lying about Trump's approval rating on The Five reaches 4 million people who came looking for news they can trust.
Fox knows this.
They're keeping her anyway.
