Meghan Markle burned through a $100 million Netflix deal, got dropped by her publisher, and watched her jam brand collapse – all to build a Hollywood empire that never arrived.
Now a bombshell new book reveals that even before the wreckage, Trump saw exactly what was happening.
He asked the Queen of England to her face, and she couldn't hide it.
What Trump Saw That Nobody Else Would Say Out Loud
A new book hitting shelves April 14 contains a conversation that will make every conservative who ever called this one feel completely vindicated.
During Trump's 2019 state visit to the UK – the final state visit of Queen Elizabeth's reign – he sat with the most dignified woman on earth and pushed her for the truth about her grandson.
"I asked her about it constantly," Trump told author Susan Page. "I'd say, 'Come on, tell me what you really think.'"
The Queen held her ground. "No, no. It's very nice," she replied.
"I really think it hurt her," Trump said. "I just don't think they treated her with the respect that she should have, frankly."
He wasn't done.
"I think she loved Harry, really loved Harry. But Harry's been, I feel, led astray. I really do. I think he's been terribly led astray."
"It's just so disrespectful the way that happened. And she didn't deserve that."

The Queen – a woman who met 13 American presidents and never said a negative word about any of them – couldn't even pretend with Trump that everything was fine.
That's not a diplomatic non-answer. That's a woman in pain trying to keep her composure.
The Damage Trump Knew She Was Hiding
The state visit happened in June 2019. Seven months later, Harry and Meghan blindsided the Queen with an Instagram post announcing they were stepping back as senior royals – without consulting her first.
British royals expert Hilary Fordwich called Megxit "one of the very darkest periods of her reign regarding family matters."
She said the Queen herself reportedly called it a "complete catastrophe."
Notes from private conversations the Queen shared with her cousin and advisor Lady Elizabeth Anson confirmed what Trump suspected.
"I was shocked when the Queen told me this, how she was so saddened," Lady Elizabeth reportedly said.
The notes also revealed that during at least one confrontation, Harry was "rude to her for ten minutes."
For a woman who served 70 years as monarch without ever publicly complaining – the woman who buried her husband of 73 years and was back at her desk two days later – that was extraordinary.
Trump read every bit of it in a single conversation at Windsor Castle.
The California Disaster Proves Trump Right Again
They traded the Crown for a Montecito zip code and a jam brand with 137,000 unsold jars – and Hollywood is finally done pretending otherwise.
The $100 million Netflix deal got downgraded from an exclusive partnership to a non-exclusive arrangement that insiders described as an exit ramp, not a renewal.
Netflix dropped Meghan's lifestyle brand, As Ever, shortly after.
No third season of With Love, Meghan has been announced.
Multiple projects were scrapped in development.
The publisher that paid up to $40 million for their book deal is now done with them entirely.
Meghan pitched a leadership book and a so-called "divorce book" – both were rejected.
According to a NewsNation source, Penguin Random House was "financially burned" and will never publish another Sussex title.
Trump saw where this was headed before the ink was dry on the Instagram post.
The Queen Kept Her Dignity. Meghan Didn't.
Queen Elizabeth spent 70 years putting the institution above herself.
When Charles and Diana's marriage collapsed publicly and humiliatingly, she said nothing beyond what was required.
Meghan sat down with Oprah and accused the royal family of racism on global television – without naming names, which made it impossible to rebut.
Harry followed up with a 416-page memoir full of grievances against his own father and brother.
The Queen never responded. She never could.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital that after stepping down, the couple "were careful never to criticize Queen Elizabeth personally, but trashed the institution she headed, knowing it was next to impossible for the palace to answer their charges directly."
That's not courage.
That's a calculated ambush on a 95-year-old woman who loved her grandson and couldn't fight back.
Trump saw through the performance in 2019.
The British public caught up around 2022. Hollywood figured it out this month.
The Queen protected Harry his entire life because she loved him.
She just couldn't tell Trump how much it hurt when he walked away from all of it.
He could see it on her face.
