A military service member lost his career because he refused to hide his faith – and he was one of more than 100 Americans who showed up to tell the federal government what happened to them.
Now that testimony is sitting on Trump's desk in a 224-page report.
Doctor Phil was in the Oval Office when it was delivered – and what he said next is something every Christian in America needs to hear.
Doctors Losing Jobs for Following Their Conscience
Dr. Phil McGraw didn't walk into Trump's White House to validate a theory.
He walked in after a year of hearings – seven of them – where ordinary Americans described what it costs to live out your faith in Biden's America.
"What stuck out for me is how many Americans showed up saying that they were persecuted in health care, military, education – different walks of life – for living their faith and standing up for their faith," Dr. Phil said in the Oval Office.
He didn't stop there.
"It's not just the liberty to choose which house of worship they want – it's actually getting into their daily life, and they're being persecuted in their jobs," he added.
Before the Oval Office meeting, Dr. Phil had been even more direct with CBN News.
"Doctors are being forced to perform procedures that are contrary to their religious beliefs," he said. "Teachers are being asked to teach things that go against their belief systems and their faith. And their jobs are being threatened. In some cases, they are losing their jobs."
That's not a fringe claim.
Mothers deceived by school principals.
Kids bullied in class for what they believed.
Nurses and doctors punished for refusing to participate in transgender procedures.
Soldiers whose careers ended because they wouldn't take a vaccine that violated their conscience.
The commission put all of it on the record.
Dan Patrick Strips the Left's Favorite Weapon Down to Nothing
Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick chairs the Religious Liberty Commission – and he came to the Oval Office ready to end one of the left's most effective lies.
For decades, Socialist Democrats and their allies in academia and the media have weaponized the phrase "separation of church and state" to silence Christians in every corner of American public life.
Coaches banned from praying on football fields.
Teachers punished for keeping a Bible on their desk.
Military chaplains were ordered to keep their faith invisible.
The Left has used those five words like a crowbar to pry Christianity out of every institution in the country.
Patrick looked into the cameras and told America the truth.
"Again, the separation of church and state is not in the Constitution," he said. "And from this day forward, that phrase should have no power over people of all faiths ever again in America."
He's right.

Thomas Jefferson wrote those words in a private letter to a Baptist congregation in 1802 – not in any founding document, not in any law, not in the Constitution.
Progressive activists spent decades repackaging a private opinion as constitutional gospel, and the media let them get away with it.
Now the Religious Liberty Commission is recommending that the Justice Department issue formal guidance setting the record straight on the Establishment Clause – putting the federal government on record that the left's favorite legal threat is exactly what Patrick said it is: nothing.
Now Every Boss Who Silences a Christian Has to Sign Their Name to It
The 224-page report delivers 12 specific recommendations for how the Trump administration fights back – and the sharpest one has nothing to do with legislation.
Any public official who claims a subordinate violated the rules by expressing their faith must now put that accusation in writing, explaining exactly which constitutional provision or law was broken.
No more verbal warnings.
No more vague pressure campaigns.
Military commanders silencing soldiers who pray in public – put it in writing.
School superintendents going after teachers for standing up for their beliefs – put it in writing.
The commission also called for the DOJ, HHS, and the EEOC to distribute "Know Your Rights" posters on religious freedom in workplaces – making sure every Christian teacher, nurse, and soldier knows exactly what the law protects.
Trump had already moved. His February 2025 executive order – titled "Eradicating Anti-Christian Bias" – set the EEOC to work, and the agency recovered over $55 million for workers punished under Biden's vaccine mandates.

The commission's final push: a Presidential Medal of Religious Liberty and First Freedom Hero Awards to publicly honor Americans who refused to choose between their career and their faith.
This Is What Happens When Christians Fight Back
The Left spent years insisting there was no war on Christianity.
Then a federal commission spent a year taking testimony – and the witnesses kept showing up, from hospitals and classrooms and military bases, all with the same story.
Dr. Phil McGraw – not a politician, not a preacher, a television host who sat through every bit of it – walked out of that commission and told CBN News: "The state of religious liberty in America is under siege."
When the left weaponized a phrase from a 200-year-old private letter, they never counted on a president who would actually push back.
Now the Justice Department has a mandate.
The EEOC has its marching orders.
And every boss, superintendent, and commanding officer who tries to silence a Christian employee has to put their justification in writing – with their name on it.
The war on Christianity didn't end.
It just ran into a White House that refuses to pretend it isn't happening.
