Democrats spent six years telling you Trump was impeached for a reason.
Tulsi Gabbard just declassified the documents that prove it.
Now Congress has a resolution on the table – and every Democrat will have to vote on it.
The Declassified Evidence Democrats Didn’t Want You to See
Gabbard didn’t stumble onto something.
She went looking.
As Director of National Intelligence, she released declassified documents she says expose a “coordinated effort” by elements within the intelligence community “to manufacture a conspiracy” used as the basis to impeach Trump in 2019.
That’s not a conservative opinion.
That’s what the declassified documents now on the public record actually show.
The whistleblower who launched the entire Ukraine phone call investigation lacked firsthand knowledge of the call he was reporting.
He was assisted by officials with documented political bias against Trump.
House investigators misrepresented evidence and denied Trump the right to confront his accusers.

Democrats knew this.
Rep. Darrell Issa says prominent Democrats have admitted in private that what the evidence now shows “reflects so poorly on the House” it “represents an example of what’s gone wrong in the Capitol and in Washington.”
They knew it was wrong.
They did it anyway.
Two Days to Impeach a President on No Evidence
The second impeachment was worse.
Democrats moved from introduction to passage in 48 hours.
No fact witnesses.
No extended investigation.
No due process.
They impeached a sitting president for insurrection – a true high crime – without establishing a single fact that would have survived a real evidentiary hearing.
Bill Clinton’s impeachment took months of investigation, witness testimony, and a 445-page independent counsel report before the House voted.
Trump got two days and a handful of law professors.
Jim Jordan put it plainly: “Democrats weaponized impeachment against President Trump with politically motivated charges.”
That’s the House Judiciary Chairman – not a talk show host.
This Resolution Is Different From the Others
Two previous expungement efforts died without a single committee hearing – in 2022 and again in 2023.
Both failed for the same reason: the evidence wasn’t there yet.
Issa’s H.Res.1211 is different.
The 2022 and 2023 resolutions argued Trump didn’t commit the charges.
This one argues the people who brought the charges knew they were false when they brought them.
That’s not a factual dispute about what happened on a phone call.
That’s a documented case of misconduct by the accusers themselves – now backed by declassified intelligence records.
Jordan is chairing the Judiciary Committee where this resolution now sits.
The votes are there.
The only question is whether Republicans have the will to use them.
The Jackson Precedent Democrats Don’t Want to Talk About
Critics say an expungement vote is purely symbolic.
They said the same thing in 1837.
https://twitter.com/Chicago1Ray/status/2053908994213720499?s=20
That year, the Senate voted to expunge its 1834 censure of President Andrew Jackson – physically drawing black lines around the offending text in the official journal and writing the words “Expunged by order of the Senate” on top of it.
Jackson’s enemies called it political theater.
Jackson called it justice.
His enemies were right that historians still considered him censured.
Jackson was right that it mattered anyway.
Every Democrat who voted against the expungement had to own that vote publicly.
That’s the point.
Issa said it directly: “When you’ve been falsely accused, whether it’s days, weeks, months or years later, somebody should be just as interested in printing that retraction on the front page as they were in putting the original charge on the front page.”
Democrats Built a 2026 Trap for Themselves
Here’s what this resolution actually does.
Democrats are desperate to run the 2026 midterms on the economy and affordability.
They are terrified of anything that forces them back to 2019 and 2021.
Their own strategists are on record warning that impeachment talk hurts them in swing districts.

Hakeem Jeffries is actively steering his caucus away from Trump accountability moves because he knows they backfire.
Now every House Democrat has to take a public vote on whether the impeachment was legitimate – or whether it was, as Issa says, “maliciously false.”
Vote yes on expungement and they validate the fraud finding.
Vote no and they go on record defending proceedings their own colleagues privately admit “reflect so poorly on the House.”
Either way, Issa has the clip.
Either way, Republicans have the ad.
Democrats spent six years using the word “impeached” as a weapon against Trump.
Issa just handed Trump’s side the same weapon – and this time it comes loaded with declassified intelligence documents instead of an anonymous whistleblower who wasn’t even in the room.
