Ever since Donald Trump won the Presidency, no news organization established themselves in opposition to Trump quite like CNN.
But even CNN could no longer deny reality.
And CNN was forced to admit this shocking truth about Donald Trump.
CNN says Trump interview with Elon Musk is a success
If Donald Trump is public enemy number one in the liberal media, then Elon Musk isn’t far behind.
So-called “journalists” hate the fact that Musk bought Twitter – renamed it X – and ended their ability to censor conservatives on the platform.
Musk hosted Trump for a more than two hour long interview on X spaces, where the two discussed inflation, immigration, and America’s energy situation, among a whole host of issues.
The interview got off to a delayed start as technical issues cropped up.
Musk claimed the 40-minute delay for the interview to start was the result of a third party DDOS attack.
But on CNN, media analyst Sara Fischer reported the Spaces event suffered technical issues because of the overwhelming number of people trying to join the event.
Fischer explained the high level of interest in the interview showed it was a political success for Trump.
“There has been third-party reporting that suggests it wasn’t a DDOS attack, it was just X’s systems responding to a flood of interest in this interview, but that actually speaks to some of the success of this interview, right?” Fischer stated.
Fischer reported that at one point more than two million people joined the event and that over 50,000,000 viewed it.
“It was 40 minutes of delay, of glitches, but once it got up and running, you had, I saw, over two million people joining the space live. You had over 50 million people who viewed it,” Fischer added.
The Kamala Harris campaign response falls flat
Kamala Harris put out a statement trying to mock the event as two billionaires chatting it up.
Fischer argued this was the wrong way to look at it as people enjoyed the dynamic between Musk and Trump.
“I think the other part is people like listening to this bromance go down. You know, Elon Musk isn’t a journalist, he’s not trying to press them on hard questions and you did see some sparks fly in that conversation at one point, the president sort of suggesting that Elon Musk come and join his administration. We’ll see where that goes,” Fischer added.
“Yeah, that’s how they’re going to try to frame all of Donald Trump’s support coming from Silicon Valley, right? ‘Oh, it’s just the PayPal mafia. Oh, it’s just billionaires.’ But, Sara, the problem is that not a lot of people see it that way,” Fischer continued.
Fischer explained that the average person sees Elon Musk as standing up to the establishment and giving Donald Trump a chance to talk about issues they care about like securing the border and getting inflation under control.
“People see Elon Musk, a lot of people, as giving a voice to the masses, as being more populist. People see Donald Trump as being more populist. And so even if the Harris campaign is going to try to convince people that this is just billionaires having fun, I think a lot of people saw it as just two regular people who are friends. That’s how the American people might be looking at this,” Fischer concluded.
Musk also extended an offer to host Kamala Harris in an X spaces interview.
It’s unlikely that Harris would want to answer questions for two hours, however.
