Now he's standing in "Trump country" demanding Trump end his own war to save Schumer's political future.

Schumer's Own Words Buried Him
Schumer posted on X this weekend with a photo of himself at an Upstate New York gas station, prices sitting at $4.39 per gallon.
"GAS PRICES ARE $4.39 AND CLIMBING," he wrote in all caps.
He stood there with veterans, farmers, and families – his words – and blamed Trump for their pain at the pump.
Here's the part he didn't think through: he called it "Trump country."
He said it himself.

The people suffering are Trump voters.
What Schumer is actually admitting is that Trump's base – the veterans, the farmers, the working families he posed with – still back Trump even as gas climbs past four dollars.
That's not an indictment of Trump.
That's a testament to how little Democrats like Schumer understand the people they claim to speak for.
Democrats Smelled Blood and Piled On
Schumer wasn't alone.
Hakeem Jeffries claimed gas was under $3.00 a gallon "before the reckless Republican war of choice."
Elizabeth Warren said Trump "started a war with Iran that sent oil to over $4 a gallon."
Gavin Newsom called it an "Iran War Tax" as California gas cracked $6 per gallon.
Pete Buttigieg lectured everyone about economic pain while his own Transportation Department did nothing to prepare American carriers for wartime fuel costs.

What They're Not Telling You
Here's what every one of those Democrats left out of their gas station photo ops.
War drives oil prices.
It has every single time.
When Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990, oil prices doubled in months.
Every major Middle East conflict in the last 50 years has moved the global oil price – because that region controls the Strait of Hormuz, and the Strait controls roughly 20 percent of global oil supply.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said it plainly: once shipping through the Strait returns to normal, markets get immediate relief.

Democrats screaming about $4.39 gas are the same Democrats who spent years blocking American energy production, killing pipelines, and celebrating the green transition that made the United States more dependent on Middle Eastern oil stability.

Schumer isn't worried about the veteran filling up his truck in Upstate New York.
If he were, he would have fought for American energy independence instead of voting against it every single time it came to a vote.
This is a midterm strategy dressed up as sympathy.

Every time a Democrat runs a gas station photo op between now and November, a Republican campaign ad will cut to Chuck Schumer calling it "Trump country."
