Britain used to rule an empire where the sun never set.
Now the British government can't even defend its own flag on its own soil.
And Britain's woke councils just made one move with foreign flags that left patriots speechless.
British councils fly foreign flags while tearing down the Union Jack
The United Kingdom is drowning in one of the most humiliating identity crises any Western nation has faced in modern history.
British councils across major cities flew Palestinian flags over government buildings last month to honor the "International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People."
Cities including Sheffield, Preston, Bradford and Belfast raised a foreign flag on taxpayer-funded property while simultaneously ordering the immediate removal of England's St. George's Cross and the Union Jack.
Birmingham City Council went after patriots who hung British flags on lampposts, claiming they posed "risks" to pedestrians and drivers.
But here's where it gets truly grotesque.
Birmingham council cabinet member Majid Mahmood wrote in a leaked email: "We are taking these down, but we need the support of the police due to issues that have cropped up when we first tried to take them down."¹
They're too scared to remove foreign flags but had no problem ripping down English ones.
The council tore down over 200 British flags this year while Palestinian flags hung in neighborhoods like Sparkhill for 18 months.²
Sparkhill has an 80% Muslim population, and the council backed down rather than enforce the same rules.³
Colin Brazier, a British cultural commentator, said the only flag that should fly on public buildings is the Union flag.
"We need to start cohering around national stories and symbols, and the flag is the simplest, most visual, visceral way of doing that," Brazier stated.⁴
He's calling for a complete ban on foreign flags on taxpayer-funded buildings and says Britain needs to follow America's model of nation-building.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer made the disaster worse in September when he officially recognized Palestine as a state.
Days later at the Labour Party conference, Starmer gave a speech trying to reclaim patriotism, waving Union Jacks and urging supporters "they belong to all of us, and we will never surrender them."⁵
Nobody bought it.
Lee Anderson, Reform UK's chief whip, destroyed Starmer's phony flag-waving with one brutal line: "You're more likely to see a Labour member fly the flag of Palestine than a St. George's flag."⁶
The numbers prove Anderson right.
Britain's Muslim population increased by 1.2 million between 2011 and 2021 and now accounts for 6% of the U.K. population.⁷
Britain imported 10 million people in 25 years, according to cultural commentator Colin Brazier, and never required them to assimilate into British culture.⁸
Citizens fight back with Operation Raise the Colours
Average British citizens finally had enough of watching their country surrender its identity.
In August, a grassroots movement called "Operation Raise the Colours" launched across England.
Patriots started hanging Union Jacks and St. George's Crosses on lampposts, painting crosswalks with red crosses, and flying flags from their homes.⁹
The campaign spread from Birmingham to Manchester, Bradford, Newcastle, Norwich, and dozens of other cities.
One organizer told reporters they raised over £10,000 from supporters to buy flags and supplies.¹⁰
These weren't professional activists or political operatives.
They were mechanics, small business owners, and working-class Brits who watched their councils tear down British flags while flying Palestinian ones.
But here's how the British Left responded to citizens flying their own flag.
The media called them racists and extremists.
Anti-racist groups like Stand Up to Hate and Hope Not Hate claimed the flag displays were "anti-migrant vigilantism" designed to intimidate immigrants.¹¹
A YouGov poll found that 58% of Labour voters believe the English flag is a racist symbol.¹²
Think about that for a second.
Nearly six in ten Labour supporters think flying England's flag makes you a racist.
The polling revealed something even more telling about Britain's fractured identity.
A majority of ethnic minority adults believe people flying St. George's flags are doing it "mostly as a way of expressing anti-migrant and/or anti-ethnic minority sentiment."¹³
That's what happens when a country imports millions of people who were never taught that British flags represent British values.
They see their adopted country's flag as a threat rather than a symbol of the freedom and opportunity that brought them there.
Starmer's Labour government revealed exactly whose side they're on.
They did nothing to stop councils from flying Palestinian flags or recognizing Palestine as a state.
But when British citizens started flying their own flags, councils immediately ordered them removed as "dangerous" to pedestrians.
Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick called it "blatant two-tier bias against the British people."¹⁴
Britain is fighting for its survival as a nation.
When you can't fly your own flag in your own country without being called a racist, you've already lost the most important battle.
The only question now is whether enough Britons wake up in time to take their country back.
