Six American soldiers are dead and Netanyahu's 34-year-old son is sunbathing in Miami.
Erik Prince said what every MAGA voter is thinking but Washington refuses to say out loud.
Now the man who built the world's most effective private military is demanding answers – and the silence from the White House is deafening.
The Question About Yair Netanyahu Nobody in Washington Will Answer
Prince didn't mince words on Megyn Kelly's SiriusXM show Monday. "It's not time to go deeper into Netanyahu's war," he said flatly – and then he twisted the knife.
"You think he could have grabbed his son from hanging out on the beach in Miami and taken him back to at least serve in the IDF instead of asking America's sons and daughters to do the same?"
Kelly confirmed it: Netanyahu has visited Washington at least seven times, lobbying Trump to take out Iran. His son Yair has visited zero front lines.
While 360,000 Israeli reservists answered the call – abandoning jobs, families, and children – Yair Netanyahu has spent Operation Epic Fury in a luxury apartment in Hallandale Beach, protected around the clock by Israeli Shin Bet bodyguards paid for by Israeli taxpayers. Security experts put that protection tab at roughly $680,000 a year.
Israeli soldiers on the northern front aren't hiding their contempt. One told The Times of London: "Yair is enjoying his life at Miami Beach while I'm on the front lines. It's us who are leaving our work, our families, our kids." Another volunteer who flew back from the United States to serve put it simply: "Where is the prime minister's son? Why isn't he in Israel?"
There is no answer. There has never been an answer.
Bibi Got Operation Epic Fury. America Got the Bill.
Prince's frustration goes deeper than one draft-dodging son. He's questioning the entire architecture of how America ended up here.
Netanyahu has wanted war with Iran for decades. He pleaded with every U.S. president. He lobbied Trump for the better part of a year. And on February 28, he finally got his wish – Operation Epic Fury launched at 7:00 AM local time, 900 strikes in the first 12 hours, Ayatollah Khamenei dead by nightfall.
Trump said Tuesday that he might have "forced Israel's hand." Secretary of State Rubio said something more revealing on Monday – that the strikes were triggered partly because Israel was going to act anyway, and American forces would face retaliation regardless. Iraq veteran Rob Smith called that "an absolutely jaw-dropping admission."
Six Americans dead. Eighteen seriously wounded. And Netanyahu's son is on a balcony in Florida doing charity work.
Prince told Kelly he loves the president and supports most of what he's done – but on this, he's direct: "Putting ground troops or extending this war longer is the wrong course of action."
He's not alone. Megyn Kelly said she has "serious doubts." Tucker Carlson called it "Israel's war." Matt Walsh said he sees nothing positive coming from the strikes. Former CPAC organizer Mercedes Schlapp warned before the operation even started: "The MAGA base themselves don't want President Trump engaging in foreign entanglements."
The White House response? "President Trump is MAGA and MAGA is President Trump."
America First Means America Pays First
Trump ran as the candidate of peace. He said in his victory speech, "I'm not going to start a war." In his 2026 State of the Union – four days before Epic Fury launched – he boasted he had ended eight wars.
Now American families are burying soldiers while Yair Netanyahu posts charity donation photos on Instagram.
Prince isn't a dove. He built Blackwater. He understands military force better than most people in Washington. When he says the math doesn't work – that Iran can field drones at $20,000 to $30,000 apiece faster than America can manufacture interceptors running $1.2 million to $12 million per copy – that's not opinion. That's arithmetic.
Qatar's Patriot interceptor stockpile was down to four days' worth of missiles by Monday. Gulf allies are burning through air defenses faster than they can be replaced. The IRGC has threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz to oil tankers – a move that would spike energy prices for every American filling up their tank.
The mullahs needed to be confronted. Iran refused to negotiate in good faith. But there is a difference between confronting Iran and writing a blank check to a prime minister whose son won't serve while ours die. Prince is asking America to hold both thoughts at once – and the establishment in Washington, on both sides, doesn't want that question asked.
It's being asked anyway.
