Joe Biden weaponized the Justice Department against American conservatives for four straight years.
Now the left is furious he didn't do more.
That's the only conclusion you can draw from what "I've Had It" podcast host Jennifer Welch just admitted on national media.
Biden DOJ Weaponized the FACE Act Against Pro-Life Christians While Ignoring Church Attacks
Armed FBI agents showed up at the home of Mark Houck – a Catholic father of seven in Pennsylvania – over a sidewalk dispute outside an abortion clinic.
They arrested Paul Vaughn, a Tennessee father of 11, at gunpoint in front of his wife and children. His crime: singing hymns and praying in an abortion clinic hallway.
An elderly woman named Eva Edl – who survived a communist concentration camp in Yugoslavia – was convicted of a federal felony for praying inside an abortion clinic.
Twenty-three pro-life Americans were prosecuted and imprisoned under Biden's aggressive use of the FACE Act. Trump pardoned all of them on Day One. Biden charged exactly zero abortion activists for the more than 400 attacks on Catholic churches and nearly 100 attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers that happened on his watch.
While Biden's FBI was hauling grandmothers into federal court, it was also sending agents into Catholic parishes as informants. A leaked 2023 FBI memo labeled traditional Latin Mass Catholics as potential violent extremists – drawing its sourcing from the Southern Poverty Law Center. The memo was distributed to over 1,000 FBI employees before a whistleblower exposed it. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan later confirmed the surveillance of Catholic churches was more widespread than the FBI had disclosed.
Biden's DOJ went after parents at school board meetings. It used the FACE Act as a weapon against pro-lifers while ignoring identical protections for pregnancy centers. It flagged Americans who attend the traditional Latin Mass as domestic terrorism threats.
The Left Is Furious Biden Did Not Imprison Trump Before the Election
Here's what Jennifer Welch said this week on "Choice Words with Samantha Bee."
"Joe Biden f—ed us so hard," she announced. "Because Merrick Garland should have prosecuted him, right?"
"Him" being Donald Trump.
Welch called it "unfathomable" that Trump won reelection after January 6 – and she was just warming up.
"The fact that the DOJ didn't take that seriously, that Biden didn't tell Garland full tilt, follow the law, follow the facts, but Jack Smith wasn't appointed for two years," she said. "Did he do the CHIPS Act? Did he do the Infrastructure Act? All of those are great. But the biggest threat now is that we had fascism at the door."
Welch isn't a fringe voice. She's echoing a position the entire Democratic establishment has now adopted on the record.
Mehdi Hasan Schumer and Nadler All Said the Same Thing After Biden Lost
Mehdi Hasan – the former MSNBC anchor who built his career demanding DOJ independence – declared after the 2024 election that he would "never forgive" Biden and Garland for not putting Trump behind bars before Election Day. He called it "astonishing incompetence, caution, cowardice."
Rep. Jerrold Nadler told HuffPost that Garland only started the prosecution after being forced by the January 6 committee referral – and that an earlier conviction would have given Democrats "a different president now."
Sen. Adam Schiff said the DOJ moved too slowly on those at the higher level. Biden himself, according to the Washington Post, privately told aides he deeply regretted appointing Garland.
Even Kamala Harris's senior adviser David Plouffe reportedly wrote in an upcoming book that Biden "totally f—ed us" as a party.
The entire Democratic Party apparatus is on record saying the same thing as Jennifer Welch. They just usually leave out the part about FBI agents raiding pro-life families at breakfast.
Democrats Admit They Wanted the DOJ Used as a Political Weapon Against Trump
Pay close attention to what these Democrats are not saying. They are not saying the FACE Act prosecutions were an abuse of power. They are not saying Biden was wrong to send armed agents after pro-life protesters. They are saying all of that wasn't enough – that Biden should have pushed Garland harder to ensure Trump was convicted and imprisoned before voters went to the polls. That is a confession, not a criticism. The same movement that called every Republican accusation of DOJ weaponization a paranoid conspiracy theory is now furious the weapon wasn't swung hard enough.
Biden Jailed Pro-Life Grandmothers and Democrats Are Still Furious It Was Not Enough
Kash Patel is running the FBI now. Trump has already pardoned the pro-life prisoners Biden put behind bars. The 23 Americans prosecuted for praying are free.
Jennifer Welch is still furious – not about what Biden did to them, but about what he failed to do to Trump.
That's who the Democratic Party is in 2026. Jennifer Welch just said it out loud.
