Zohran Mamdani called Barack Obama "pretty damn evil" in 2013.
Last week, Obama showed up in the South Bronx to sing children's songs with him.
What Obama did before he left that classroom is what you need to see.
The Man Who Called Obama Evil Now Has His Endorsement
Mamdani's 2013 post wasn't a youthful misunderstanding – it was a direct attack on Obama over U.S. military operations abroad.
Obama called him anyway after the election, told him he'd run an impressive campaign, and made himself available as a resource if Mamdani won.
Then he sat on the floor of a South Bronx classroom and sang "Wheels on the Bus" with toddlers while Mamdani grinned next to him.

When a child told Mamdani he was "the best in the world," Obama looked at the socialist mayor of America's largest city and said, "You got your hype man here."
What Mamdani Actually Believes
Zohran Mamdani isn't a progressive Democrat in the Bill Clinton mold.
He's an avowed democratic socialist who ran on freezing rents, seizing city buses, and government-controlled child care financed entirely by New York taxpayers.
His 2-K program – free child care slots for two-year-olds – launched with rapper Cardi B as its celebrity face.
Cardi B is known for the sexually explicit hit "WAP" and for publicly threatening ICE agents and Trump supporters on social media.
That's the face Mamdani chose to market a program targeting New York's children.

Obama saw all of it and decided the right call was a classroom photo op.
Why Obama Did This
Obama isn't naive about what Mamdani represents.
He's making a calculated bet that the socialist wing of the Democrat Party is the future – and that his blessing is the most valuable currency he can hand them.
Mamdani told Meet the Press this month he has no plans to run for president.
Politicians who say that are usually the ones who do.
When that campaign launches, the Bronx classroom moment becomes the opening frame of every ad – a former president, cross-legged on the floor, laughing with the man who once called him evil.

Obama just laundered the most radical platform a New York mayor has run on in a generation.
He did it while singing toddler songs.
And the Democrat machine will use that footage to tell you Mamdani is a reasonable moderate.
He isn't.
New York is the preview.
Your city is next.
