AOC spent $53,000 in campaign cash at five-star hotels last year – the same year she launched a "Tax the Rich" T-shirt for $27.
Her donors sent it to her $16 at a time.
And while those small donors clicked "add to cart," AOC was photographed in box seats at a Bad Bunny concert in San Juan the same month her campaign burned nearly $50,000 in Puerto Rico.
The Merch Racket Funding Her Political Empire
The store is something else.
"Tax the Rich" T-shirts for $27. "Brawler for the Working Class" tank tops. "Abolish ICE" dad hats for $28. Crop tops. Hoodies. All union made, the site promises, as if that makes selling socialist branding on cotton any less absurd.
Her campaign has collected $9.6 million in a single quarter.
It sits on $8.3 million in cash right now.

And she raises every dollar of it by telling ordinary people the system is rigged against them – at an average donation of $16.81 a pop.
She's not wrong that the system is rigged.
She just forgot to mention she's the one doing the rigging.
The FEC Filings Don't Lie
Fox News pulled the campaign finance reports and the numbers are remarkable.
In Q3 of 2025 alone, AOC burned through nearly $50,000 in Puerto Rico – luxury hotel stays, upscale dinners where cocktails start at $20, and a "venue rental" at the arena where she was photographed dancing in a suite during a Bad Bunny concert.
When Fox News asked her campaign to explain it, they didn't respond.
Then Q4 dropped – another $4,000 at the same San Juan hotel.
Full year total: $53,500 on four- and five-star hotels.
That includes a Manhattan sushi spot where the tasting menu runs $150 a head and a seafood restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip.
This is the woman who tells her donors the rich aren't paying their fair share.

She's right – she isn't paying a dime of it herself.
Campaign funds cover the suites.
Her $16 donors cover the campaign funds.
She's Not a Socialist. She's a Brand.
AOC has built one of the most sophisticated political fundraising machines in Congress.
She doesn't take corporate PAC money – she doesn't need it.
She has something more valuable: hundreds of thousands of true believers who think their $16 is going to stick it to the billionaires.
It's going to a sushi tasting menu.
That's the part she leaves out of the fake-cursive fundraising emails asking for up to $500 from her "grassroots" supporters.
The "Tax the Rich" shirt isn't a political statement.
It's a $27 donation to AOC's war chest – wrapped in cotton, shipped union-made, worn by someone who genuinely believes she's fighting for them.
She's fighting, all right.
Just not for them.
