An Obama advisor revealed this sick fantasy he had had for Trump supporters

Democrats are getting nervous about the election.

That’s causing them to lash out.

An Obama advisor revealed this sick fantasy he had for Trump supporters.

Obama advisor says Democrats benefit from Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene slammed into Florida’s Gulf Coast and cut a path of destruction throughout the southeast to Virginia.

The Category 4 hurricane became the deadliest storm to hit the country in the last 50 years behind Hurricane Katrina.

Western North Carolina was devastated by flooding after the record rainfall that Helene brought.

Entire towns in the region were washed away from the flooding.

North Carolina is one of the most important swing states in the Presidential election this year.

The western part of the state outside of a few blue dots is heavily Republican.

CNN political commentator David Axelrod – who served as a strategist to former President Barack Obama – speculated that Helene would be good for Democrats politically.

He thought that in storm-ravaged Western North Carolina, Democrats would be smart enough to figure out how to vote while supporters of former President Donald Trump wouldn’t.

“Here’s my question about North Carolina,” Axelrod said on his Hacks on Tap podcast. “You had these killer storms, which, by the way, was a third big story this week. These killer storms, and there’s a lot of displacement in western North Carolina.”

Axelrod called Asheville, North Carolina a “blue dot” as the largest city in western North Carolina and overwhelmingly Democrat.

Buncombe County, where it’s located, voted for President Joe Biden in the 2020 Election.

“But those voters in Asheville are, they’re, you know, the kind of voters who will figure out a way to vote,” Axelrod explained. “You know? They’re upscale voters, kind of liberal voters, and they’re probably going to figure out a way to vote.”

Axelrod thought it would be a different story for the residents of the Appalachian Mountains in the state.

“I’m not sure a bunch of these folks who’ve had their homes and lives destroyed elsewhere in Western North Carolina, in the mountains there, are going to be as easy to wrangle for the Trump campaign,” Axelrod stated.

“I don’t know how that’s all going to play out, but it’s an unpredictable element in North Carolina that has made it, maybe a little more interesting,” Axelrod added.

Democrats hope that the hurricane helps them politically

More than 230 are dead and thousands are missing after Hurricane Helene.

Western North Carolina is reeling after receiving the most damage from the storm.

Axelrod is hoping that Vice President Kamala Harris benefits politically from the storm.

And he thinks that Trump supporters are too dumb to figure out how to vote.

But he’s not the only one.

Politico ran a piece speculating that Hurricane Helene could cost Trump Georgia and North Carolina.

The Biden-Harris administration has been criticized for its slow and inept response to Helene after the disaster.

Democrats thought that Kamala was going to run away with the race after the Presidential debate.

Now that she’s in a dogfight, they’re hoping that a deadly hurricane can hurt their opponents politically.
