A grown woman walked up to a teenage girl at a school event and lost her mind over a bracelet with stars and stripes on it.
Then she went on social media and admitted it herself.
And this Indiana mom flipped out on a 17-year-old TPUSA volunteer for handing out patriotic bracelets at a school event.
What Actually Happened at Rock the Block
Sophia Hunt is 17 years old and the chapter president of TPUSA's Club America at Westfield High School.
On August 10, she and her fellow students set up a booth at Rock the Block – a family back-to-school event hosted by Westfield Washington Schools.
They were handing out red, white and blue bracelets.
No candidate names on them.
No campaign slogans.
Just stars and stripes ordered in bulk off Amazon.

A young boy, around seven or eight years old, walked up and reached for one.
His mother – since identified as Kailly Stanich – grabbed his hand and pulled him away.
Hunt, doing what any gracious teenager would do, called after her: "Hey, are you OK?"
That's when the adult in the room stopped being one.
Stanich's own social media posts – since deleted – told the story: she admitted she "flipped the F out" and had been "seeing red."
According to Hunt, Stanich knocked a bracelet from her hand, unleashed profanities in front of children as young as six, and called the students "vile, disgusting human beings" who supported "a racist piece of s—."
The students didn't engage.
When Hunt said "I hope you have a better day," one other student eventually said they weren't sorry – and that was the full extent of the pushback from the conservative teenagers.
Stanich now denies touching Hunt's hand and denies screaming in her face.
She also says her seven-year-old son already knew TPUSA was not a good booth.
A seven-year-old.
Think about that.
The Part That Should Infuriate You
Here's what Stanich actually admitted on the record.
She cursed during the encounter and acknowledged her language was inappropriate.
And she admitted she was "very upset that the booth was even there."
Not upset because anyone did anything wrong.

Upset because teenage conservatives were allowed to exist at a school event.
That's the whole story, right there.
A grown woman was so enraged by the presence of a TPUSA booth that she couldn't control herself in front of her own small child – and now she wants everyone to believe the 17-year-old who said "I hope you have a better day" is the aggressor.
The Westfield Police Department confirmed they received a report of alleged battery involving a juvenile on August 19.
The case is under investigation.
Stanich filed her own police report after receiving death threats when her social media posts about Hunt went viral.
Hunt condemned those threats immediately and without qualification.
"No one deserves death threats," Hunt said. "No one deserves to have any sort of threat put on their life for any political reason."
That's the difference between these two people in one paragraph.
This Is the Playbook and You Need to Recognize It
This isn't just one angry mom in Indiana.
This is what the left does to conservative students everywhere in America, and it has been for years.
At the University of Texas in 2018, a liberal mob of about 150 students surrounded the Young Conservatives of Texas, ripped up their signs, and hurled profanities at them – all while campus police took no action.
At Beloit College in Wisconsin in 2025, administrators blocked students from even forming a TPUSA chapter while those same students faced harassment and threats just for trying.
At a Maryland high school in early 2026, a woman reported a TPUSA event to Child Protective Services.
The message from the radical left is always the same: conservative students don't have the right to exist in public spaces.

Sophia Hunt showed them the correct response.
She stood her ground and stayed kind.
She didn't back down.
Erika Kirk, who has watched her husband's organization face constant hostility since Charlie Kirk was killed at Utah Valley University in September 2025, said exactly what needed to be said.
"The spiritual battle rages on, but our students don't back down," Kirk wrote on X. "They cannot stop what my husband built. We've got your back."
Indiana Republican Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith said he was proud of Hunt for "standing her ground with grace and truth."
He's right.
A 17-year-old just gave every conservative in America a master class in how to respond when the left comes for you.
Smile.
Say you hope they have a better day.
Then refuse to move an inch.
