A Top Nevada Democrat Posted an Unhinged Midnight Rant About Trump at the Supreme Court and Then Deleted It

Apr 6, 2026

Susie Lee spent years selling Nevada voters on a bipartisan image.

At 1:03 a.m. on April 1st, that same account let the mask slip.

Now she's hoping you didn't see what she wrote – but the internet never forgets.

Susie Lee's Deleted Post About Trump at the Supreme Court Birthright Citizenship Hearing

Lee was scrolling X in the middle of the night when she saw an Associated Press story reporting that President Trump planned to attend Supreme Court oral arguments on birthright citizenship – becoming the first sitting president to do so in history.

Her response: "So f—ing f—ed up. I'll pray they f— him to his face. Sorry, I say f— a lot these days."

She deleted it by morning.

Then she tried to spin it.

"Clearly my language touched a nerve," Lee posted afterward. "My nerve was touched by the attacks on our Constitution and its separation of powers."

The National Republican Congressional Committee wasn't buying it.

"Democrat Susie Lee has become Nevada's fool, more focused on vulgar outbursts than doing the job she was elected to do," NRCC spokesman Christian Martinez said. "Hitting delete doesn't clean up her mess. It just proves she knows how embarrassing it is."

The White House called it exactly what it looked like.

"This sounds like a sad case of late-stage Trump Derangement Syndrome," White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson said. "There's a reason the American people have no trust in congressional Democrats – and it's because of deranged comments like this."

Susie Lee Ethics Violations STOCK Act and the Record She Wants Nevada to Forget

Here's what you need to understand about Susie Lee.

She represents Nevada's Third Congressional District – a swing seat Trump narrowly won in 2024.

That's the brand. The record tells a different story.

Voters in her own district have started calling her "Susie Madoff." Former Trump Ambassador Dr. Jeff Gunter, running for the GOP nomination to take her seat, says he hears it constantly.

Lee voted to impeach Trump – twice.

She voted against no tax on tips in a state where 25 percent of jobs are tied to the hospitality industry.

She voted against no tax on overtime.

She voted against the Big Beautiful Bill.

Her husband's company, Full House Resorts, received $5.6 million in PPP loans two weeks after Lee helped push a change to federal pandemic loan requirements that made them eligible.

Lee said she had no influence over whether the loans were approved – though her office later acknowledged she had been informed of both the application and the approval.

Then came the stock trades.

Business Insider reported in 2021 that Lee failed to properly disclose more than 200 stock trades worth between $267,000 and $3.3 million.

The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust filed an ethics complaint.

Lee's office blamed a third-party money manager.

It happened again in 2022 – eight more trades worth up to $155,000, disclosed months after the STOCK Act's required window.

FACT filed another complaint.

What Susie Lee Voted Against While Nevada Workers Paid the Price

Nevada's Third District is full of hospitality workers, service employees, and small business owners who would have directly benefited from everything Lee voted against.

These aren't abstract policy fights for them.

No tax on tips is the difference between making rent and falling behind.

No tax on overtime means extra money stays in the family, not Washington.

Lee voted no on both – while quietly executing millions in stock trades from a congressional seat that gives her committee access to the very industries she's trading.

The STOCK Act exists precisely because Americans understand that kind of arrangement is rotten.

Dr. Jeff Gunter put it plainly: Lee "aided and abetted Joe Biden in flooding our country with illegal aliens" and voted against the very bill that would have helped Nevada workers keep more of what they earn.

The margins in Nevada's Third have tightened every single cycle – from 9 points in 2018, to 3 in 2020, to 4 in 2022, to barely 1 point in 2024.

Trump carried the district.

What happened at 1:03 a.m. on April 1st isn't a gaffe.

It's a window into exactly how Susie Lee really feels about the 77 million Americans who voted for the president she was praying would get humiliated by the Supreme Court.

She deleted the post.

She can't delete the record.
