Whistleblowers detail massive security failures
The Secret Service and the FBI haven’t been very forthcoming about the circumstances of the assassination attempt against Donald Trump.
That’s leading to whistleblowers coming forward revealing the appalling incompetence on display.
Missouri Senator Josh Hawley appeared on Jesse Watters’ show and told viewers how the agent in charge on the day of the Butler rally failed to enforce basic security protocols.

More reporting on Secret Service failures
RealClearPolitics correspondent Susan Crabtree has been all over the stories of the Secret Service failures the day of the Trump assassination attempt.
Crabtree posted on X in response to the video of Hawley on Jesse Watters’ show, revealing fellow agents considered the agent in charge at the Trump rally to be an incompetent who’s never worked on a protective detail before.
“I reported within the first 48 hours after the assassination attempt that this lede site agent, a woman from the Pittsburgh field office, is considered inexperienced and incompetent. She’s mainly done Protective Intelligence Division work and not Protective Detail assigned to the inner-most security rings of presidents, former presidents, etc work, from what my sources tell me,” Crabtree posted.
Crabtree noted that even though her fellow agents think little of her, interim Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe confirmed she hasn’t been fired, despite a protectee getting shot in the head on her watch.
“She has not been fired, as Rowe testified last week, and had no business being the lead site site agent that day – and yes, Secret Service agents are irate that she used a botched plan the very first time they allowed counter snipers at a Trump rally bc either the threat was higher or the detail agents, including the top agent on Trump’s permanent detail – Special Agent Curran, was the only member of his permanent detail on hand that day,” Crabtree added.
Crabtree then claimed Rowe perjured himself during his testimony when testifying about the composition of Trump’s detail the day of the assassination attempt.
“Very good sources tell me Acting Secret Service Dir. Rowe LIED to senators about that during the hearing last week. The rest were CNOS agents, ‘temps’ in Secret Service lingo,” Crabtree added.
The failure of the Secret Service that day nearly led to the first Presidential candidate assassination since 1968.
And rather than put the truth before the public, the Secret Service appears to be in total cover-up mode.
