The Left spent four years turning your national parks into guilt trips.
Trump spent a year ripping the lectures out.
Now a Biden-appointed judge just made a move that could define what Americans see when they celebrate their country's 250th birthday.
U.S. District Judge Angel Kelley, sitting in Massachusetts, issued a preliminary injunction Friday requiring Interior Secretary Doug Burgum to reinstall every removed exhibit within 21 days.
That deadline lands on July 4, 2026 itself – America's 250th anniversary.
Trump signed his "Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History" executive order in March 2025 to clean out what the Biden administration had spent years installing.
Burgum moved quickly, stripping federal parks, monuments, and landmarks of what he called "improper partisan ideology."

The removed materials included an exhibit at Philadelphia's Independence National Historical Park pushing a particular framing around George Washington and enslaved people in his household, a climate change warning sign at Fort Sumter in South Carolina, and panels at the Bunker Hill Monument in Boston featuring quotes on women's suffrage and African American rights – placed there not by historians but by Biden-era appointees looking to make a political statement.
A Pride flag display at Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument in Arizona. Gone.
Labor history films at Lowell National Historical Park in Massachusetts. Gone.
Burgum called it a cleanup.
He was right.
The Judge Who Said Removing Woke Signs Was Censorship
Kelley wrote that removing these exhibits "sets a dangerous precedent of censorship and sanitization."
Let that framing sit for a second.
Burgum stripped out exhibits the Biden administration installed to push specific political narratives.

Kelley called that censorship.
The Interior Department called Kelley what she is – a liberal activist judge – and announced it would explore appeal options.
This is the same federal judiciary that has blocked or challenged virtually every major Trump initiative since January 2025.
Biden-appointed judges have moved against DOGE, immigration enforcement, and vaccine policy.
Now they're moving on the content of park signage.
A Biden Judge Will Decide What America Looks Like on Its Own Birthday
If Trump loses this appeal – or if it stalls in court past July 3rd – the exhibits go back up before a single family arrives at Independence National Historical Park for the 250th anniversary.
The climate change sign returns to Fort Sumter.
The Pride flag display goes back in Arizona.
All of it, reinstalled by court order, on the day America turns 250.

The administration's response was direct: "The Department will look at our appeal options while we celebrate UFC Freedom 250 on the South Lawn of the White House this weekend in honor of our nation's 250th with the greatest president in the history of our country – President Donald J. Trump."
Doug Burgum was blunt about what he inherited.
"What we were left, like virtually every Cabinet agency, was a complete mess from the Biden administration," he told Fox News. "They were doing everything from climate extremism to DEI, ESG, you name it, and they were doing it all opposed to what the American people voted for."
The American people voted for Trump in November 2024.
They voted – specifically – for an end to this kind of ideological pressure inside every corner of government, including the parks you take your grandkids to every summer.
One Biden judge in Massachusetts just made herself the deciding vote on what story America tells itself on its 250th birthday.
The administration needs to win this appeal before July 3rd.
If they don't, Kelley wins – and your national parks celebrate Independence Day her way.
