A Fox News host had this awful response to Jack Smith’s October surprise

Oct 3, 2024

The weaponized Department of Justice meddled in the 2024 election again.

It came at a pivotal moment in the campaign.

And a Fox News host had this awful response to Jack Smith’s October surprise.

Judge Chutkan releases Jack Smith court filing

Obama Judge Tanya Chutkan keeps trying to press the court’s thumb down on the scale in the 2024 election for Democrats.

Chutkan tried to rush Jack Smith’s rigged January 6 witch hunt to trial before the election.

The Supreme Court blocked that scheme with a ruling that Presidents are immune from criminal prosecution for core and official acts in office.

That, however, afforded Judge Chutkan a second bite at the apple.

The Supreme Court’s ruling kicked the case back to her to issue a decision on which acts in Smith’s indictment – if any – were protected by Presidential immunity.

Joe Biden-Kamala Harris administration prosecutor Jack Smith then submitted a 165-page brief that amounted to an extensive campaign attack piece on Donald Trump.

It then fell to Chutkan to decide when to make it public.

Chutkan picked her spot and released the filing the day after the Vice Presidential debate.

J.D. Vance was widely acknowledged to have eviscerated Tim Walz in the debate.

But the final question of the debate from the CBS moderators was about the January 6 riot – an event the media is obsessed with.

Chutkan’s decision to make the brief public not only knocked Vance’s performance out of the headlines, but it also provided meat on the bones the last image Americans took away from the debate – Tim Walz’s falsehoods about Donald Trump being a threat to democracy because he incited an insurrection on January 6.

Fox News Channel’s Neil Cavuto stuns viewers

Neil Cavuto is the most anti-Trump host remaining at Fox News.

Cavuto broke the news of Chutkan unsealing Smith’s brief by stating, for a fact, that Donald Trump committed a “crime” in challenging the results of the 2020 election.

“It was in this newly unsealed court paper we’re learning that former President Trump resorted to crime in a bid to cling to power after the 2020 election,” Cavuto stated.

These charges by Smith are the January 6 impeachment report refashioned as a criminal indictment.

The Supreme Court obviously thought so little of the indictment that it issued a sweeping immunity ruling that should have served as a hint to Judge Chutkan about how the Justices would rule if she ruled all of Trump’s conduct fell outside of official acts and Trump appealed.

Trump posted on Truth Social that this move by Chutkan amounted to “election interference.”

By making Smith’s brief public, Chutkan guaranteed that all the major news outlets saturate this story with coverage and Smith’s charges against Trump – and not Tim Walz’s failings in the debate or the scattershot response to Hurricane Helene from the Biden-Kamala Harris administration – would chew up valuable news cycles in the last five weeks of the campaign.
