The View is one of the liberal media shows that conservatives love to hate.
But it’s got an ugly underbelly.
And a former co-host on The View revealed this sickening scandal about the show.
Former co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck speaks out
Elisabeth Hasselbeck held down the conservative co-host position on The View from 2003 to 2013.
Hasselbeck was the only legitimate conservative to ever have that position.
After The View ran Hasselbeck off, a procession of RINOs like Abby Huntsman, Meghan McCain, Ana Navarro, Nicolle Wallace, and Alyssa Farah Griffin took over the role.
Hasselbeck appeared on Martha MacCallum’s Fox News show to discuss the appalling conduct by the show’s co-hosts in the wake of Joe Biden dropping out of the 2024 Presidential race.
Hasselbeck told McCallum she was appalled at how the co-hosts refused to ask White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre any real questions about Biden quitting and let Jean-Pierre falsely claim Biden withdrawing was done out of a great reservoir of patriotism.
“Where were the questions? Absolute misuse, disappointing, not surprising of course, that there was no follow-through. Joe Biden did the right thing, handing it over to someone who could do the job, why can’t he? Where was that question? Not there on purpose, we’d say,” Hasselbeck stated.
Hasselbeck said the show might as well have served as the media team for Harris’ campaign.
“Count this as the first advertisement for the left when it comes to Kamala Harris’s campaign trail,” Hasselbeck added.
Hasselbeck takes on Whoopi Goldberg
Hasselbeck then turned her attention to Whoopi Goldberg, whom Hasselbeck said sets the tone for the discussion at the table on the show.
Goldberg – Hasselbeck stated – is a friend of hers.
But Hasselbeck also said she would have no problem calling out Goldberg to her face for trying to bully women into voting for Harris.
“This is her main stage, this is where it all begins and unfortunately, the very stage and table that calls for choice all the time wants to sit there and by the mouth of Whoopi Goldberg, a friend of mine, and I tell this to her face-to-face, is bullying her viewers into voting for Kamala based on the fact that she is a female,” Hasselbeck declared.
Playing the gender card as the chief campaign strategy didn’t work for Hillary Clinton in 2016.
Hasselbeck told MacCallum it would fail for Kamala Harris in 2024 as well.
“I think that’s absolutely ignorant strategy and I hope the women who are watching tune out or actually tune into what’s going on at that table. It’s absolute brainwashing, it’s an abandonment of what they had. There was an opportunity, as KJP said, actual questions and no follow-up. It was really disappointing, not surprising,” MacCallum concluded.
The View going in the tank for Harris wasn’t an outlier.
Journalists are going gaga for Harris to try and create an artificial sense of momentum about her campaign.
