The DCCC just got caught lying to the faces of their own local party leaders.
Now, with 100 days until Election Day, Democrats can't even agree on who their own campaign committee is supposed to be working for.
And Republicans just published a memo explaining exactly why that collapse is going to cost Democrats the House – again.
Democrats Turned on Each Other and Got Caught
A California Democrat Party chair didn't mince words after the DCCC stuck its nose into local primaries it promised to stay out of.
"They lied to all of us," she said.
That's not a Republican attack line.
That's a Democrat – someone who runs one of their own county parties – publicly accusing the national committee of lying to her face.
The DCCC inserted itself into primaries in California's 22nd District, Maine's 2nd District, and Arizona's 1st District, backing candidates against the grassroots favorites.

They lost all three.
Now AOC herself is telling the DCCC to stop wasting money on primaries and focus on winning the general election – which is a remarkable thing to say about your own party's campaign committee 100 days before Election Day.
An anonymous House Democrat told Axios the DCCC "would've been better to stay out."
Some members have already threatened to withhold their dues.
Republicans haven't had to fire a single shot.
Trump Built the Largest Republican Cash Advantage in 20 Years
While Democrats fight each other, Trump has spent 18 months quietly building the biggest financial war chest the NRCC has ever carried into a midterm campaign.
The NRCC has $92.7 million cash on hand.
The DCCC has $79 million.
That $13.7 million gap is the largest Republican cash-on-hand lead heading into any June of an election year on record – and the first time since 2016 that the NRCC has had more money than the DCCC at this stage.

That money is already being deployed on airtime and staff across the 36 districts Republicans are now targeting.
The NRCC expanded that target list by seven seats in a single week.
Republicans are forcing Democrats to spend money defending seats they already hold instead of going on offense.
The Map Was Drawn for Republicans to Win
The money matters – but so does the math.
Democrats are defending 23 seats that Trump won in 2024.
Republicans are defending eight seats Kamala Harris won.
Think about what that means.
For Democrats to flip the House, they have to win districts where voters already chose Trump by an average of 53.2 percent of the vote.
In 2018 – the last time Democrats took back the House – they won districts where Trump had averaged 46.6 percent.
The bar is six points higher this time, in Trump country, with a party that 54 percent of voters view unfavorably.
CNN put Democrat favorability at 28 percent – the lowest in 30 years.
Quinnipiac found that only 42 percent of Democrats themselves approve of how their own party in Congress is doing its job – down from 58 percent just two months ago.

Democrats can't even get Democrats to approve of Democrats.
This Is What Winning Before the Fight Starts Looks Like
History says the party holding the White House almost always loses seats in the midterms – and the media keeps reminding you of that fact like it's the whole story.
It isn't.
The only two exceptions since 1938 were 1998 – when Republicans overplayed the Clinton impeachment – and 2002, when the country was rallying behind George W. Bush after September 11.
What Republicans have built this cycle looks more like 2002 than any Democrat wants to admit.
A unified party behind a president who just delivered his first full year in office.
A cash advantage that is historic by any measure.
A map that forces Democrats to play defense in Trump country.
And an opposition party that just spent the summer lying to its own local officials, getting exposed, losing the primaries anyway, and watching its own members threaten to defund the national committee.
The NRCC put it plainly: "Money, map, and momentum are all pointing in the same direction."
Democrats will spend tens of millions trying to claw this back.
Their own party chairs already told you what that's worth.
