The Washington, D.C. Swamp is ready to go to war to stop Donald Trump’s agenda.
He’s facing a dirty trick to undermine his administration before he takes office.
And Megyn Kelly gave Donald Trump a dire warning about this scary fight with the Swamp.
Donald Trump’s cabinet nominations are victims of character assassination
President-elect Donald Trump is having to fight to get some of his cabinet nominations confirmed despite a 53-seat Republican majority in the Senate.
The Washington, D.C. Swamp is trying to kill the nominations of his cabinet nominees who are threats to disrupt the system.
Former Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) was the victim of the politics of personal destruction after an avalanche of lies and hoaxes when Trump nominated him to be his Attorney General.
Gaetz withdrew from his consideration after the media circus became a distraction for Trump and his agenda.
The Swamp got a scalp in Gaetz after a smear campaign and it’s looking for more.
Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth is facing a barrage of attacks from the media about his character.
Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly warned that Secretary of Health and Human Services nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would be next if Hegseth’s nomination failed on her SiriusXM show.
“If you don’t think they’re going to do this to RFK Jr., you haven’t been paying attention,” Kelly said. “I realize that Pete has his belly exposed. He has not led a perfect life, and there’s plenty if you want to start attacking his character in terms of his marital history and so on.”
Hegseth compared the smear campaign he’s facing to the one that Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh faced in 2018 during his confirmation process in an interview with Kelly.
The Swamp has more Trump nominees in its crosshairs
The pushback is ramping up against Kennedy, Director of National Intelligence nominee Tulsi Gabbard, and FBI director nominee Kash Patel.
Kelly warned that the battle over cabinet nominees’ personal lives was just beginning with Hegseth.
“Let’s say they get Pete’s scalp like they got Matt Gates’s scalp, Bobby Kennedy’s history makes Pete look like the consummate Boy Scout,” Kelly explained. “He looks like he’s ready to enter the priesthood.”
“He’s a lot older, with a lot more of a checkered past,” Kelly continued. “It’s not going to be pretty at all. So we are really at a crossroads here about whether we are going to sacrifice these nominees because of checkered personal pasts or not. It’s not going to get easier after Pete.”
The Swamp is hoping they can get Trump and Hegseth to fold from the media-manufactured hysteria.
But the President-elect is standing firm behind his Secretary of Defense nominee.
“Pete is doing well now,” Trump said during an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press. “I mean, people were a little bit concerned. He’s a young guy with a tremendous track record.”
Donald Trump’s first major battle with the Swamp of his second term will be over confirming his cabinet nominees.
