Adam Schiff was the ringleader in anti-Trump witch hunt after anti-Trump witch hunt.
But now Adam Schiff is the one whose conduct is under a microscope.
And Adam Schiff flew into panic mode over one Donald Trump threat.
Donald Trump says January 6 Committee members belong in jail
Nancy Pelosi organized the January 6 Committee both to put Donald Trump in jail and to destroy any chance he could run for President again.
Pelosi stacked the committee with the biggest Trump-haters in Congress, like Adam Schiff (D-CA), Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), and Liz Cheney (R-WY).
The committee ran a kangaroo court that ignored Nancy Pelosi admitting on camera that she bore the blame for the security failures on January 6, suppressed testimony from witnesses that vindicated Trump, and even destroyed records.
Pelosi’s planned hatchet job failed as the American people saw through the big lie Democrats told that Donald Trump incited an insurrection on January 6 to overthrow the government.
Americans didn’t believe that falsehood and re-elected Donald Trump in overwhelming fashion.
Trump addressed the January 6 Committee and the members shameful and shady conduct in an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press host Kristen Welker.
Welker asked Trump about the Democrats and Never-Trumpers who waged lawfare against him facing legal retribution once Trump took office in January.
Trump was unsurprisingly not happy with how the committee members conducted their witch hunt and said if they committed crimes, they belonged in jail.
“And [Liz] Cheney was behind it, and so was Bennie Thompson and everybody on that committee. For what they did, honestly, they should go to jail,” Trump declared.
The press lost their minds over Donald Trump supposedly threatening to jail his political opponents.
Cheney and Schiff gave responses that indicated they believed investigating Donald Trump equaled a get out of jail free card.
“This is not just about retribution against those of us on the committee. This is about sending a message that no one better hold him to account in his second term, no one better look at what he does and do their congressional job,” Schiff said on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
“He is intent on trying to break down these checks and balances in our system,” Schiff added.
Cheney went so far as to threaten anyone who investigated her, claiming there would be sanctions – who would levy them is unclear – forthcoming against anyone that probed her or the Committee’s actions.
“Donald Trump’s suggestion that Members of Congress who later investigated his illegal and unconstitutional actions should be jailed is a continuation of his assault on the rule of law and the foundations of our republic,” Cheney stated.
But this was another media hoax.
Trump never actually said he would order his Attorney General to indict Schiff or Cheney.
Welker asked Trump if he would order his FBI Director or Attorney General to investigate or arrest his opponents.
Trump flatly denied this suggestion.
“No, not at all. I think that they’ll have to look at that, but I’m not going to — I’m going to focus on drill, baby, drill,” Trump declared.
