Alec Baldwin calls Americans ignorant
It’s a truism in politics that you don’t just come out and blame the voters.
Like in business, the customer is always right, so political parties stay far away from ever telling the voters the reason they lost is because the electorate is too dumb to understand the choice they made.
With Donald Trump winning re-election after most of Hollywood went all-in on the “Trump is Hitler” lie, that traditional doctrine is out the window.
Alec Baldwin called voters stupid and ignorant to the world when he spoke to reporters at the Torino Film Festival in Turin, Italy, where he accepted a Stella della Mole lifetime achievement award.
“Americans are very uninformed about reality, what’s really going on– with climate change, Ukraine, Israel, you name it, all the biggest topics in the world. Americans have an appetite for a little bit of information,” Baldwin said.
Baldwin calling others ignorant is quite the claim after his last three years.
This year saw Baldwin dodged criminal prosecution for a shooting on set of his film, Rust, after Baldwin fired a prop gun he allegedly didn’t know was loaded and killed the stunt coordinator.
Prosecutors dropped charges of involuntary manslaughter in 2023.
A grand jury re-indicted Baldwin on that same charge in January 2024.
But Baldwin escaped prosecution when a judge dismissed the charge with prejudice after prosecutors withheld evidence from the defense.
Sharon Stone joins the bash America tour
Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone also whined about the election results.
Speaking to reporters at the same film festival that Alec Baldwin attended, Stone also called Americans ignorant of the world because – unlike Stone and her fellow left-wing elites – Americans can’t afford to travel the world.
“We haven’t seen this before in our country. So Americans who don’t travel, who 80% don’t have a passport, who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naivete. What I would say is that the only way that we can help with these issues is to help each other,” Stone ranted.
Stone also said Americans can’t pretend there are good men in America because men supposedly put women’s lives in danger by voting for Donald Trump.
“And we can’t continue to pretend that your friends are good men when they’re not good men. And you must be very clear minded and understand that your friends who are not not good men are dangerous violent men,” Stone wailed.
“And you have to keep them away from your daughters, your wives and your girlfriends, because this is the time when we can no longer look away, when bad men are bad,” Stone concluded.
Hollywood leftists calling Americans ignorant because they can’t afford to jet set off to an Italian film festival for a weekend would’ve been a Saturday Night Live parody of Democrats who can’t handle losing elections back when Saturday Night Live was funny.
