John Fetterman gave Democrats one warning about Donald Trump they never expected

John Fetterman knows trouble when he sees it.

He sounded the alarm on a trap Democrats are walking into.

And John Fetterman gave Democrats one warning about Donald Trump they never expected.

John Fetterman tells Democrats to contain their meltdowns over Trump

The Democrat Party is still in a state of shell shock over Vice President Kamala Harris going down in flames to defeat.

Democrats are trying to figure out where to go from here with President-elect Donald Trump returning to the White House in January.

One tactic from Trump’s first term is already starting to repeat itself where Democrats freak out over the latest manufactured outrage of the day.

U.S. Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) warned his party they are in for a long four years during an appearance on CNN’s State of the Union

He told Democrats to give it a rest on getting outraged over everything Trump says or does.

“It’s still not even Thanksgiving yet,” Fetterman said. “If we’re having meltdowns over every tweet or every appointment or all those things — I mean, it’s going to be four years.”

Fetterman noted that Republicans have control of Congress and the White House and told Democrats to be focused on the big picture.

“[Republicans] can run the table right now,” Fetterman stated. “They have the absolute ability to run the table, at least for the next two years. And that’s what I think we should all be concerned on, not small tweets or random kinds of appointments.”

He lamented that Trump was able to spark a meltdown from Democrats over some of his cabinet nominations.

“I mean, there’s some that I would absolutely be excited to vote for, like my colleague from Florida or the representative from New York, of course,” Fetterman said, referring to U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY). “And then there’s others that are just absolute trolls, just like Gaetz. “And that’s why Democrats — like, Trump gets the kind of thing he wanted, like the freak-out and all of those things.”

Fetterman gives Democrats the hard truth about the election

Fetterman has become one of the few members of his party who’s willing to give his fellow Democrats a reality check.

He compared Democrats to a cat chasing a laser when it comes to reacting to Trump.

“It’s like he’s the guy with the laser pointer, and we’re going to be the cat chasing around here or there. ‘He did that. Can you believe [it]? I can’t believe he appointed so and so.’ And like, I’m not going to be that. I’m not that guy. I’m not that Democrat. Because we knew that’s what’s going to happen,” Fetterman explained.

Fetterman thought that Trump got a kick out of the reaction from nominating former Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to be Attorney General.

“That’s got to be candy for him to have and watch everybody get triggered,” Fetterman said. “I’ve said this before, it’s like, clutch those pearls harder and scold louder, that’s not going to win. And that’s been demonstrated in this cycle.”

Democrats are in for a miserable four years working themselves into an outrage over everything Donald Trump does.
