Greg Gutfeld exposed one sick crime by Democrats that left everyone up in arms

Democrats continue to push the envelope when their power is unchecked.

But one awful decision created a national backlash.

And Greg Gutfeld exposed one sick crime by Democrats that left everyone up in arms.

Pet squirrel becomes an unlikely rallying cry for the Right

The Presidential election ended with one outrage that galvanized Tesla CEO Elon Musk, U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), Donald Trump, Jr., Wall Street billionaire Bill Ackman, and others.

Peanut the squirrel was a star on social media after he became the pet of New York resident Mark Longo.

Longo found the squirrel after its mother was killed as a baby and took him in.

He ran an animal shelter out of his home in rural New York near the Pennsylvania border.

New York law requires that anyone who owns a wild animal gets a license from the state for it.

Longo was working on getting a license for Peanut when someone tipped off the authorities that he had a wild animal.

The New York Department of Environmental Conservation raided Longo’s home for five hours and took Peanut and a raccoon named Fred that Longo had.

Authorities put down Peanut and Fred.

That incident sparked outrage over government overreach and was discussed by the likes of Elon Musk.

Greg Gutfeld says Peanut the squirrel’s death is a clarifying incident

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld said the death of Peanut was a wake-up call to Americans during the monologue of his show Gutfeld!

“So one of the key differences between the Left and Right is one side’s willingness to leave you alone,” Gutfeld began. “Sure, all politicians want power, but clearly one kind is more invasive than the other. So meet public enemy number one: Peanut the Squirrel – apparently the most sinister rodent since Adam Schiff. Or he was until the state of New York decided he had to go.”

He mocked New York’s government for having mixed up priorities.

“Now, as a New York state resident, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the state’s commitment to my safety,” Gutfeld said. “You know, I was starting to think that with all this crime and homelessness and migrant chaos, things were going in the wrong direction. But now, thank God, we’re back to law and order.”

Gutfeld said that the saga of Peanut was a lesson about Big Government.

“First with the squirrels. Now the joke about priorities is obvious, but the process itself isn’t. Big government, by its nature, only sees itself as growing bigger,” Gutfeld explained. “And as it grows, so does its intrusiveness. But as they wish to control every aspect of your life, they forgo the basics they were initially designed to cover: crime, sanitation, homelessness.”

“Only instead to focus on stupid s*** like your pets, your lemonade stands, your pronouns. And why? Well, what is government made of? Bureaucrats,” Gutfeld added.

Gutfeld said the fact that the New York state government is raiding people’s homes and murdering their pets was a wake-up call to Americans.
