The woke outrage mob wants to have cancel culture run amok, unchecked.
But they didn’t count on anyone drawing a line in the sand.
And Trump supporters went to war against the woke outrage mob in this fight over McDonald’s.
McDonald’s that Donald Trump worked is harassed
One of the most memorable moments of the 2024 Election was when former President Donald Trump worked at a McDonald’s in Feasterville, Pennsylvania.
Trump put on an apron and learned how to cook french fries.
He was also able to hand orders at the drive-thru as he interacted with customers and staff while the press looked on.
The former President also poked fun at Vice President Kamala Harris, whose claims to have worked at McDonald’s making french fries have been disputed.
Hosting Trump was the decision of one McDonald’s franchisee who came under fire from the woke outrage mob because the campaign event was a success for him.
The online restaurant review site Yelp had to turn off reviews after an online mob flooded it with negative ones after Trump’s visit.
Newsweek ran a story after Trump’s campaign stop that pointed out that McDonald’s inspection had a problem with a health inspection in the past because employees didn’t wash their hands.
The Feasterville McDonald’s was firmly in the crosshairs of the cancel culture by the Left.
But Trump supporters rallied around the location after Trump’s visit.
Backers of the former President showed up at the McDonald’s as a group to support it after the woke outrage mob got ginned up.
“I heard that [the McDonald’s owner] was getting hassled by people on the other side, the Harris people, and they were threatening him, and they were going on social media, Yelp in particular, and they were saying, ‘Oh, the food stinks and it’s got diseases,’ or whatever,” a Trump supporter named Dave told the Daily Caller. “So I heard that, and then finally, I just heard through the grapevine that they were going to do this tonight, so I came.”
Standing up the woke outrage mob
Vietnam War veteran Bill joined the group of fellow Trump supporters for dinner at the McDonald’s.
He said that he wanted to stand with the owner after he took flak for bringing Trump in for the visit.
“The sad thing is, the owner here had threats against his business and his employees, and it definitely wasn’t the Trump supporters that were doing it,” Bill explained. “That’s a big reason why I am here.”
A Trump voter named Chris stopped at the Feasterville McDonald’s because of the backlash against it.
“What happened to this McDonald’s is not deserved, all the negativity that is being showered upon it,” Chris said. “It’s American-owned and locally-owned. So these people don’t deserve all that. You have working Americans here, they’re trying to make a living just like everybody else in America.”
Pennsylvania businessman Jim Worthington, a Republican National Committee delegate from the state, set up the Trump visit with the McDonald’s franchisee.
“The individual that owns the franchise went out of his way, and you never know what the reaction is going to be from people that don’t agree with hosting something political,” Worthington stated. “For me, I’ve had experience where they actually boycotted my business because of my support and it cost me millions of dollars in lost revenue. It takes a lot of guts to do that.”
Trump supporters came to the defense of the McDonald’s location after it became the latest target of the woke outrage mob.
