Tim Walz had one big lie he told on “The View” destroyed by the last place he ever expected

Tim Walz is hurling more and more outlandish smears in the final days of the race.

But he never expected to get called out on them.

And Tim Walz had one big lie he told on The View destroyed by the last place he ever expected.

Tim Walz pushes hoax about Donald Trump’s economic record

This Presidential election offers a clear contrast to voters on the economy.

Under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, the cost of living has gone through the roof from 40-year highs in inflation and high interest rates.

Former President Donald Trump took over a sluggish economy and presided over an economic boom until the pandemic hit.

Voters can remember that gas prices were low, inflation was under control, and mortgages were affordable during the Trump administration.

The former President has an advantage over Kamala with voters on who they trust to handle the economy.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz appeared on ABC’s The View where he tried to push a hoax about Trump’s economic record.

He claimed that Trump lost more manufacturing jobs than any President in history during his term.

“That’s simply factual,” Walz boasted.

CNN fact checker smacks down Tim Walz

CNN “fact-checker” Daniel Dale is one of the worst in the business.

He disappeared under President Joe Biden but reemerged during the Presidential campaign to claim that everything Trump says isn’t true.

But he shocked everyone by calling out Walz over his bogus claim about manufacturing jobs under Trump.

“If you’re going to say something is ‘simply factual,’ it should be factual,” Dale said. “This is not. It’s not true that the Trump presidency lost more manufacturing jobs than any other Presidency.”

“Under George W. Bush, there were about 4.5 million manufacturing jobs lost,” Dale explained. “Under Trump, it was about 178,000. But there are also more manufacturing jobs lost than under Trump: under Eisenhower, under Ford, under Reagan. So Trump does not have the record.”

Any attack on Trump’s economic record always leaves out the context of a once-in-a-century pandemic.

The job gains during the Biden-Harris administration were from the economy reopening.

But there are still fewer jobs today than before the pandemic hit.

“I think it’s also worth pointing out for context that these Trump job losses in manufacturing overwhelmingly occurred because of the Covid pandemic,” Dale stated. “Pre-pandemic, under Trump, there was a gain of about 414,000 manufacturing jobs. Again, he ended a negative 178,000, but that was largely because we had a pandemic-related crash.”

Many of the job losses that Trump suffered because of the shutdowns returned as the economy opened up again under Biden.

Kamala and Walz want to push a phony narrative that Trump lost manufacturing jobs and the Biden-Harris administration added them to court voters in the Rust Belt swing states.

They can’t compete with the Trump economic record so they’re trying to gaslight voters into believing it was a disaster.

Based on polling, voters aren’t buying the Democrat spin about the Trump economy.
