Journalist predicts mass mental breakdowns on the Left if Trump wins
Independent journalist Mark Halperin sat for an interview with Tucker Carlson.
Halperin – who was once a leading figure in the mainstream media before getting “Me too’d” out of the press – gained a new following this election cycle.
Leftists in the media hated Halperin because in 2016 Halperin was one of the few who thought Trump could win the election.
That election began the press adopting the attitude that it’s their job to help defeat Trump.
But in 2024, Halperin is making a comeback.
It was Halperin who broke the story of Joe Biden dropping out of the Presidential race on July 21.
And Halperin was first on the story that internal polls by both Democrats and Republicans show the race slipping away from Kamala Harris.
Halperin is on record saying Trump is currently the favorite to win the election.
And in his interview with Tucker Carlson, Halperin predicted if Trump wins, the Left will undergo the biggest psychotic breakdown in United States history.
“I say this not flippantly, I think it will be the cause of the greatest mental health crisis in the history of the country. I think tens of millions of people will question their connection to the nation, their connection to other human beings, their connection to their vision of what their future, and the future for their children, could be like,” Halperin began.
“I think it will require an enormous amount of access to mental health professionals. I think it’ll lead to trauma in the workplace. I think there will be some degree of–” Halperin added before Carlson cut him off.
Carlson was astounded.
“Are you being serious?” Carlson exclaimed.
The danger the Left poses in the event of a Trump win
Halperin told Carlson that tens of millions of Democrats believe that Trump winning is the worst thing that could happen to them in their lives.
Trump winning – Halperin added – would also tarnish America in the Left’s eyes as a failed experiment and an irredeemable nation.
Halperin predicted alcohol addition and divorces would sky rocket.
“100% serious. I think there’ll be alcoholism, broken marriages . . . yeah. They think he’s the worst person possible to be president. Having won by the hand of Jim Comey and a fluke in 2016, and then performed in office for four years, and denied who won the election last time, and January 6 . . . the fact that under a fair election, America chose by the pre-agreed rules Donald Trump again — I think it will cause the biggest mental health crisis in the history of America,” Halperin continued.
But Halperin also predicted violence could be in the offing as deranged Democrats would attack friends and co-workers who supported Trump as well as launch violent riots like in the summer of 2020.
“I think there will be some violence. I think there’ll be workplace fights, fights at kids’ birthday parties, I think there will be protests that will turn violent. I hope they don’t, but I think there will be some,” Halperin concluded.
